Under the unweighted points per game settle the outcome, the top two of Leeds and West Brom will achieve automatic promotion to the Premier League, while Fulham, Brentford, Nottingham Forest and Preston will compete in the play-offs.
Going down would be Charlton, Luton and Barnsley, or any of the relegation-threatened teams. Take a look at who might vote what below…
Barnsley
Barnsley have already written to their EFL their intention of not accepting relegation if the season is ended by PPG. Prediction: Resume.
Birmingham
Birmingham sit 16th in the Championship table, nine points away from the top six, but eight above the relegation zone. Prediction: Cancel.
Blackburn
Sit just three points away from reaching the playoffs. Of course they’re going to go for it if possible to. Prediction: Resume.
Brentford
Brentford will want a chance of getting that automatic promotion spot. Prediction: Resume.
Bristol City
Chairman Steve Lansdown has already expressed that he wants the season to be played to a finish for a chance of being in the playoffs. Prediction: Resume.
Charlton
Lee Bowyer has been vocal during this pandemic, he wants clubs to be promoted, *cough* ex-Leeds player *cough* – but doesn’t think relegation should be allowed. They are down if season ends via PPG option. Prediction: Resume.
Cardiff
Currently in contention of getting a play-off contention with just two points separating them from the top six. Fairplay to Neil Harris, great job he’s done this season. Prediction: Resume.
Derby
Playoffs isn’t impossible, but, owner Mel Morris’ previously spoke publicly about wanting to end the campaign. Prediction: Cancel.
We continue our look at how Championship clubs are predicted to vote on new options…
Fulham
Either way, Fulham will no doubt get a play-off spot, but they still have a decent chance of getting into the top two. Prediction: Resume.
Hull
Hull vice-chairman Ehab Allam wrote to the EFL to outline his “serious concerns” over the proposed restart of the campaign next month. Prediction: Cancel.
Leeds
Leeds chief executive Angus Kinnear claims it would be a ‘national embarrassment’ if the Championship was decided on points per games. Prediction: Resume.
Luton

Middlesbrough
Despite being two points above the drop zone, Middlesbrough want to get the season back on. Prediction: Resume.
Millwall
Millwall are two points outside the top six and ending it now would see them miss out on a playoff place. Prediction: Resume.
Nottingham Forest
In favour of resuming after a dodgy patch before the season was suspended in March. Have a good chance of finishing in the playoffs and just five points behind 2nd place West Brom. Prediction: Resume.
Preston
Peter Ridsdale, advisor to Preston owner Trevor Hemmings, wants to play out the remaining fixtures. They also sit in the playoffs. Prediction: Resume.
QPR
QPR boss Mark Warburton was the season to continue. They are six points away from the playoffs. Prediction: Resume.
Reading
Sit mid-table, not much to play for. Few wins gets them into the top half but that’s about it realistically. Prediction: Cancel.
Sheffield Wed
Sheffield Wednesday have been quiet on theirr views, though Garry Monk did state that a season resumption is being favoured. Prediction: Resume.
Stoke
There is a possibility that Stoke will go down, ending it now and they survive, will want to focus on next season. Prediction: Cancel.
Swansea
Just three points outside the top six and would love to replicate their form to how they started the season. Prediction: Resume.
West Brom
They know winning promotion on the pitch means it cannot be disputed, with any legal challenges to the season. Prediction: Resume.
Wigan
Another club with no official word. Though Sam Morsy’s said the only fair way to decide the season is to finish it. They are 20th and two points above the relegation zone. Eek. Prediction: Resume.
The conclusion
Resume: 19 clubs (79.17%). Cancel: 5 clubs (20.83%).
