Jude Bellingham explains more on that ‘iconic’ and ‘intense’ World Cup celebration with Jordan Henderson in the win against Senegal.
The former Birmingham played turned Dortmund star has revealed the story behind that much talked about celebration with Hendo after the pair combined for the first of three goals in the round of 16 clash.
Bellingham – who has earned widespread praise for his performances out in Qatar – had no choice but to placed his head on Henderson’s forehead after the Liverpool player’s first-half strike.
The 19-year-old went on to extend England’s lead, and while many praise his performance, it’s the infamous celebration that got everyone talking, raising questions over what that was all about, and some wanted to see it on FIFA.

The FA posted a video on Instagram, Bellingham talked through the celebration, coming in a game which the Borussia Dortmund midfielder excelled in throughout.
‘To be honest he got so, like, close and I was thinking, right, if this is what we are going to do we have to commit, don’t we?’ he begin in the video.
‘So I went and he went really hard you know, proper hard, like right there.
‘And that’s why my back’s arched like that, because I am thinking like he’s proper hard here and he’s proper close.
‘So I kind of just had to turn the core on a bit, lean forward and get into a bit of more of a comfortable position. But it was a good moment.
‘Something that, you know, lives forever, them kind of celebrations and hopefully, people will be talking about it for a long time.’

Jude Bellingham’s performance against Senegal has seen England team-mate Phil Foden make a bold prediction about the 19-year-old’s future.
“I don’t want to big him up too much because he is still young, but he’s one of the most gifted players I have ever seen,” Foden told ITV.
“He has no weakness in his game. I think he will be the best midfielder in the world.”
Henderson also spoke highly enough of Bellingham. “I can’t keep saying nice things about him because we’re talking about a one-off,” the Liverpool captain told BBC Sport.
“He’s only young and we just need to let him play football – but he is incredible.”
Speaking at half-time, Micah Richards told BBC Radio 5 Live: “He’s 19 years of age. To put in a performance like that is just incredible.
“When the game was flat and Senegal were causing England real problems, just when they needed someone to grab the game by the scruff of the neck, Bellingham was there, whether it was defending, attacking, passing.
“I like how aggressive he was, up against a strong and fast Senegalese team. What a performance it was.
“His decision-making as well. He’s got that part of his game already at such a young age. It’s breathtaking.”
Matthew Upson added: “Jude Bellingham, I don’t know what he’s having for breakfast but he is just everywhere. He’s just bouncing around all over the pitch.”
Roy Keane added on ITV: “It is exactly what you need from a midfielder when the game is a bit tight – running from midfield. Brilliant.”
Harry Kane said: “Jude is a fantastic player, he does everything well. I like him a lot – he’s a good person, mature for his age and has great leadership skills.”
Gareth Southgate added: “I don’t think we could have predicted how quickly Bellingham could mature. In the past five months that has gone to another level.
“We wanted to invest in young players because we felt they could be special in the future. You suffer with that at times, because they are not going to be perfect, but further down the line you get these performances.”
