Harry Kane throws up and Son Heung-min collapses during what was a rather brutal session on Tottenham’s tour out in the South Korean heat.
The England international was left throwing up as Antonio Conte drilled his Tottenham stars through a tough two-hour training session in tough conditions.
Spurs travelled out to Seoul’s World Cup Stadium with around 6,000 locals in attendance and they got a glimpse of just how brutal Conte’s pre-season regime can be.
This was the second session of the day on Monday and it began with the rondo ball-possession warm-ups, which featured a long 10-on-10 game across two thirds of the pitch and concluded with a savage running exercise that no-one had been warned about according to Daily Mail.

Fitness coach Gian Piero Ventura, who came in just 24 hours or so ago, took over for the running and drove those players who have been back in training for over a week through 42 lengths of the pitch at a quick pace.
Those footballers who reported at the end of last week after they an extended international duty in June escaped with 30 lengths of the pitch.
With temperatures reaching 30C just like much of England, there was no breeze inside the bowl stadia, and the humidity was ridiculous, something that proved too much for Kane, collapsing onto his knees at the end of one run and ended up being sick before having to throw himself back into action.
Some of the fans watching on gasped with surprise and even more so when local hero Son Heung-min started showing signs of pain, and even he couldn’t cope with the temperature, throwing himself down onto the pitch and rolled on to his back before needing to be helped back to his feet.
Son was going through his second day of training, hilariously meeting his teammates with a big grin as they arrived at Incheon Airport and joined them for training on Sunday, however he has been seen playing six-a-side games with his friends during his summer break.
Eric Dier was seen trying his best to get some noise, an atmosphere from the crowd in need of extra motivation towards the end of the session.
Bryan Gil and Davinson Sanchez also strode out at the front for much of the running, and young striker Troy Parrott still had more than enough energy to break clear on the final length to win the race.
‘It depends who you ask,’ said 20-year-old Parrott when questioned if Conte’s training was as gruelling as it seemed.
‘I’m quite a good runner naturally, but yeah it’s been tough. It’s been hard work but it’s all preparation.’
New signing Ivan Perisic, injured at the end of last season and not fit enough to take part in full training, will be glad to know he wasn’t able to involved on this occasion, while Dejan Kulusevski pulled out after only a few minutes with what seemed like a calf problem.
These players have been training now for nearly 2 hours. Some have dropped to the floor (a number of times) but are simply told “get up and go again”.
I have NEVER seen players worked so hard during any pre-season. Even Kane and Son dropped expecting it was the last length! #COYS pic.twitter.com/61ZPRkNib2— Chris Cowlin (@ChrisCowlin) July 11, 2022
Japhet Tanganga did his own running exercise covering half the length of the pitch.
Shortly after he joined the club last year, full-back Sergio Reguillion said of training sessions under Conte, who likes it tough: “They are tough. Really tough. For the manager, you can rest after the end of the season, not during it!
“Our work in them depends on the day, but it is tactical, technical and in the gym – that’s the worst for me. And it’s also run, run, run, run. I think it is necessary for us though.”
Brutal training sessions under Conte. The players are being put through repeated full pitch runs after two hours of training. Players dropping out, feeling the heat and pace, before rejoining the group. Kane and Son among those feeling the pace, collapsing and then rejoining. pic.twitter.com/AOhSDvwAMS

Fans reacted as Harry Kane throws up and Son collapses during a brutal session on Tottenham’s tour…
@KevinSSquared: Our boys working hard, COYS
@jordan2855504: No messing about with Conte
@thfc_diajack: This is good for us long term this season, it’s gonna be long
@DavidJKenna: I doubt N’dombele would have lasted more than 2 minutes of that 😂
@TaylorJarrett18: Conte effect 😂
@coolminion2: Conte full effect 🔥🔥
@THFCSe: Bryan, Davinson and Pape Sarr have properly impressed me with the running. Led the pack for ages
@tangangaweireld: Mental that Pape Sarr, Sanchez and Bryan Gil aren’t even in that last picture as they’re so far ahead
@tyresemode: Would have loved to have seen how Tanguy would handle this.
@TommyK1226: No pain no gain boys
@thfcmax__: No wonder he left Ndombele at home
@ManoDelamonte: Love to see this. The spuds are only a small Kane/Son hamstring tear from ending their season chances before it’s even begin.
@HLDSpurs: surprised Parrot looks so fit! Very good sign
@SpurssBoyy5: Imagine Ndombelle was there Jesus Christ he be on his way home now 👀🤣
@N0tChaos: In an ambulance
@YouthFtbl: Dier was impressive, considering what a unit he is. This type of endurance training really does suit the younger more slightly build players.
@TheFootyCafe: Love that parrott was the fittest! His mentality has properly turned around in that last loan season & hoping one more loan and he’ll be ready to rejoin 1st team! 🙏🏽 Any idea on extending his contract Ali?
@Oluwabenson33: Sarr and Gill really want to be in this team I love it. You would think Sarr wouldn’t give maximum effort after playing little and not in his preferred position in the training game but the boy gave his all.🥺
@clayblack75: Impressive from Parrott, clearly got an engine on him.
@aykenned: Troy hasn’t stopped…… playoffs with MK, international with Eire, specialised training on holiers and returned a week early, there from day 1 of pre season…… great attitude
@MattyFrench82: Parrott put in work in the break and I’m glad he’s bring given a chance to impress. He may end up going on loan to a Championship or even Prem side, but Conte will have been impressed by his stamina and effort 👍 Could be working towards a contract renewal too?
