Fulham vs Manchester United – Watch Live Match Stream Online

Our live stream ahead of  Wednesdays Premier League match, Fulham vs Manchester United is now up, kicking off at 20.15 GMT

You can keep an eye on the commentary as it happens below, but first, we take a preview into the fixture, lineups, predictions and much more…

Fulham come into the game off the back of a 1-0 home defeat to Chelsea in their last outing. Mason Mount’s late strike gave Chelsea just a second Premier League win in seven games as Fulham were reduced to 10 men for the second half of the game, with Antonee Robinson sent off for a first-half challenge on Cesar Azpilicueta.

Robinson’s rash challenge in the West London derby means that he will miss Fulham’s next three matches through suspension, with Joe Bryan set to deputise on the left.

The cottagers will take confidence from a defiant defensive display for 78 minutes, as manager Scott Parker opts for solidity in the hope of keeping his side in the Premier League after a leaky, wide-open start to the season.

The Red Devils drew 0-0 with champions Liverpool on Sunday night to keep hold of first place, and they face a Fulham side without a Premier League win to their name since November.

Not for the first time this season, a hugely-anticipated and heavily-billed big game failed to live up to the hype on Sunday as Liverpool and Manchester United played out a largely dull and uneventful goalless draw at Anfield.

Plenty of teams have led the way before falling away in what is developing into one of the most competitive Premier League seasons ever, and the challenge for Man United now is to stay on top.

LAST MEETING:

The two clubs last met in February of 2019, with Manchester United winning 3-0 away at Craven Cottage…

PRESS CONFERENCE:

SCOTT PARKER

On United being title contenders…

“They’ve got all the ingredients to be,”

“They’ve got a fantastic squad, players at both ends of the pitch, particularly attacking players who can score goals and cause a lot of teams problems.

“Certainly they’re on an upward curve, momentum’s firmly with them, so yeah why not? I’m sure they’re contenders.”

“It will be a tough game. We’re playing against an in-form team here, a team that are top of the league for a reason. They have massive quality all over the pitch.”

“But like always, and over the course of the last few weeks, I think it’s clear for everyone to see that for us as a team, there is no fear.”

“We go into every game wanting to try and put our stamp on the game and try and cause whoever we’re playing some problems.”

“So of course, while also understanding the quality that they possess, we want to play real free-flowing, attack-minded, aggressive football, which hopefully we can do on Wednesday night.”

“We have the ingredients in this team, with the way we’re playing at the moment, to hurt any team.”

On Solskjaer

“He was a top class player,”

“Certainly I remember every time he was on the football pitch he had a good habit of scoring goals.”

“I’ve met Ole a couple of times as a manager as well, a really good guy, and I look forward to meeting him again tomorrow night and going up against him.”

OLE GUNNAR SOLSKJAER

On trip to Fulham

“It’s only been two days since we played but they’re vibrant again, ready to go. We’ve not got the COVID tests back yet, the results of them, so hopefully they’ll all pass through them and there shouldn’t be many changes.”

On squad fitness…

“Yes it really feels like we’ve got the strength in depth. I have to leave some players even out of the [matchday] squad when they deserve to be in the squad but it’s a good challenge and conundrum to have for the right reasons.”

On Fulham and how they’re playing

“I’ve got to say I’ve been impressed. They’ve turned it around. I think they’re a club that is really well coached and well managed. Around about the time when the transfer window closed they made some shrewd, very good signings and you can see they’ve got a settled team. They’re hard to beat and hard to break down. They have some quick and clever players with individual quality and you can also see the organisation and the work they do on the training ground with Scott [Parker]. The coaches must be a high level.”

On Scott Parker and job pressure…

“Yeah but that was probably under pressure from the media. Scott should never be under pressure given the job he’s done there, in my opinion anyway, although that probably doesn’t mean much in the Fulham world! They’ve stuck with him and I’ve got to say he and his coaching staff are doing a good job.”

LINEUPS:

Manchester United possible starting lineup:
De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Bailly, Maguire, Telles; Matic, Pogba; Greenwood, Fernandes, Rashford; Cavani

THATSAGOAL TIP:

United were replaced at the top of the Premier League by Leicester City last night, but can go back there with a win at Craven Cottage. Fulham were perhaps unfortunate not to get anything from their match with Chelsea at the weekend having gone down to 10 men, but they have improved from the start of the season and Scott Parker will still have hopes of staying in the Premier League. Their previous five matches before that defeat to Chelsea all ended in draws.

Manchester United were held to a draw at Anfield on Sunday in a match that they could have won towards the end. However, it did stretch their unbeaten run to 12 games and they’ve kept a clean sheet in three of their last four Premier League matches. Fulham have failed to score in their last three at home so a bet on United to win this match to nil looks a good pick.

PREDICTION: Manchester United to win to nil – 7/4 with FanTeam.
