FourFourTwo predicts the 2022/23 Premier League table

The 2022/23 season is just around the corner, and with that in mind, we look to FourFourTwo who predicts the Premier League table.

We turn our attention to the top tier, and as always, it causes plenty of reaction and debates on social media up until the opening fixtures.

Have a look at who they thought would finish from 20th to 1st below, some will surprise, others not so…

20) BOURNEMOUTH

The FourFourTwo magazine have predicted the Cherries to finish in 20th place (relegated) for the 2022/23 campaign.

FFT VERDICT: The returning south coast side did their best to blow promotion – but won’t get any let-offs at this level. 

The FourFourTwo magazine predicted the club to finish in 3rd place for the 2021/22 Championship campaign – instead they finished 2nd.

19) NOTT’M FOREST

The FourFourTwo magazine have predicted Forest to finish in 19th place (relegated) for the 2022/23 campaign.

FFT VERDICT: From the ridiculous to sublime, the club dazzled last term. On paper this looks steep – but they’ve amazed us once…

The FourFourTwo magazine predicted the club to finish in 8th place for the 2021/22 Championship campaign – instead they finished 4th.

18) BRENTFORD

The FourFourTwo magazine have predicted the Bees to finish in 18th place (relegated) for the 2022/23 campaign.

FFT VERDICT: Injuries didn’t help last year, but Brentford were serious candidates to go until March. This may be tough.

The FourFourTwo magazine predicted the club to finish in 17th place for the 2021/22 Premier League campaign – instead they finished 13th.

17) LEEDS

The FourFourTwo magazine have predicted the Whites to finish in 17th place  for the 2022/23 campaign.

FFT VERDICT: Jesse Marsch is tasked with arresting the decline, but losing talismen hardly helps. Another survival scrap awaits.

16) FULHAM

The FourFourTwo magazine have predicted the Cottagers to finish in 16th place for the 2022/23 campaign.

FFT VERDICT: Unlike former years, Fulham don’t feel dead certs to drop. One thing’s certain: under Silva, they’ll give this a good go.

The FourFourTwo magazine predicted the club to finish in 2nd place for the 2021/22 Championship campaign – instead they finished 1st.

15) SOUTHAMPTON

The FourFourTwo magazine have predicted the Saints to finish in 15th place for the 2022/23 campaign.

FFT VERDICT: Southampton need a strong start more than most. After a sorry end to last season, Hasenhuttl is under some pressure.

The FourFourTwo magazine predicted the club to finish in 14th place for the 2021/22 Premier League campaign – instead they finished 15th.
