The Owls are expected to have a mid-table finish, all their remaining games rather meaningless at this point of the season.
The Bluebirds have an outside chance of getting in the playoffs, whilst Huddersfield and Hull are looking over their shoulders, battling to avoid the drop.
Four teams seems to be a small number for now, but the restart date on training as well as the season continue to get pushed back, the figure would be expected to rise.
It was recently announced that there will be a further delay on a possible season resumption after being advised not to commence full training until the 25th of May.
Curtailment is a possibly after clubs learned that full squad training as a group is not recommended until towards the end of May, meaning hopes of restarting early June looks unlikely.
Sources have suggested that if it does resume it may not be until mid to late June – or even early July in a worst case scenario – until the league is in a position to conclude the campaign.
Senior club officials insist it will take more than three weeks for players to reach match fitness
