After checking out Forest Green CEO Henry Staelens’ tweet about not being allowed into the Bradford City boardroom for not wearing a tie, fans took to give their reaction with others choosing to mock him…
Fairly childish behaviour from a senior member of staff. I think the correct term is “grow up”

More like the youngest bellend CEO

It's a boardroom where you should be expected to dress smart…you should look at the rules before hand..Its not the 1960s and at least MY club isn't irrelevant and hated

Maybe you will learn to respect the club you are visiting in future then, if you’re asked to wear a tie then do it. It says a lot about you that not only would you refuse but you’d go on social media and bitch about it. I’m no expert but I’d say that’s not the way to do business.

So you’re moaning at being asked to wear a tie, against your preference, but part of our expectations. If I come to the return fixture, will you serve me meat? No. Because it’s your club and your rules. I eat meat, and like it, but I respect your right to uphold your own rules.

@davidpendleton0: You refused to put a tie on? It was your choice, you disrespected your hosts and then highlighted it on social media.
@Chopper_Harris: Heaven forbid you go ever away to a larger club like Man Utd or Arsenal, where ties are also worn in the boardrooms. I guess you’d refuse to go in them on principle? Or would you be hypocritical? #bcafc
@DoctorBeeching1: With the greatest of respect Sir your own club stands proud in its beliefs and for that you are quite correctly applauded and respected ,however, respect works both ways.Your tweet is unbecoming of a senior club official.
@Addybak: Personally would never want to watch a game from the ‘posh’ seats but if I go to someone else’s house, I respect their house rules; just as you will expect the other way around.
@bottslock32: Grow up and respect the other clubs rules. ‘Youngest CEO’ needs to learn a thing or two about respect.

Seems like an attention seeker and beginning to think that’s what FG are all about there are loads of places that have a dress code and you were even offered a tie, so grow up and shut up.

The boardroom etiquette is still an important part of football. I cant believe you expected to get in the Valley Parade boardroom without a tie.
