Leyton Orient have made a return to League Two for the first time since 2017, after drawing with Braintree Town at Brisbane Road.
They have won promotion from the National League to the English Football League, sealing the title in the process.
The O’s went into the match knowing that they need just a point for it to be guaranteed, which they did so with a 0-0 draw against Braintree Town.
Salford City lost 3-2 in their game away at Hartlepool United and Solihull Moors, who also could have gone top, ended up drawing 1-1 away at Dagenham & Redbridge.

LEYTON ORIENT TIMELINE IN RECENT YEARS
It’s fair to say that Orient had quite the rollercoaster ride since the 2013/14 season, when they finished 3rd in League One where they lost 4-3 on penalties to Rotherham in the playoff final for a place in the Championship.
They then got relegated to League Two the following season, finished 8th following that, and then had their 112-year stay in the EFL come to an end in 2017.
The same year the club had to go to court with their future on the brink, before Becchetti then sold the club and Orient was bought by a consortium led by Nigel Travis, the Essex-born chief executive of Dunkin’ Donuts who is also a fan.
The O’s finished their first season in the National League in 13th, despite a very worrying start.
The 2018/19 season though seen the good times return to Brisbane Road, with many a bumper crowd, the club making themselves FA Trophy Finalists along with as mentioned above, being crowned league champions.
Fans took to social media to give their reaction to Orient going up to League Two – check out those tweets on the next page.
