Paul Heckingbottom was sacked just four months into the job at Leeds United back in June of this year, eventually being replaced by Marcelo Bielsa. Of the 16 games Heckingbottom was in charge of, he won 4, drew 4 and lost 8.

He’s also previously manager Barnsley. Started with the Development Squad before taking over, as caretaker, from Danny Wilson in 2015. Was made caretaker against after Lee Johnson departed the club.

He guided them to the EFL Trophy Final where they went on to beat Oxford and also won promotion to the Championship which then saw him appointed as the permanent manager.

The good results continued for the first half of the 2016/17 Championship season as the club ended 2016 in 9th position in the table, before he then left for Leeds.

Michael Flynn is the current manager of League Two side Newport County.

In March 2017, he was appointed as caretaker for the remainder of the 2016/17 season after the sacking of Graham Westley with Newport 11 points adrift at the bottom of League Two. Flynn led the team to Football League survival, avoiding relegation with a win in the final match of the season and confirming the second ‘great escape’ in the club’s history.

In May 2017, Flynn was appointed the permanent manager. Since then, his side beat Leeds United in the FA Cup Third Round, Newport then drew Tottenham in the Fourth Round, achieving a 1–1 draw to force a replay at Wembley Stadium. Tottenham however won the replay.

Flynn’s first full season at Newport County saw them finish the 2017/18 season in 11th place in League Two.

So far this season, he’s took them to 6th, inside the playoff zone.

Current odds on Sky Bet: 7/1

Sam Ricketts is currently enjoying his first season as manager of National League side Wrexham.

He holds an impressive managerial record of 13 wins, 5 draws and 2 losses from 20 games.

The Welsh side sit top of their league and will no doubt be hoping to keep hold of him so they can finally get back into the Football League for the first time since 2008.
