After Paul Scholes resigned from the first team manager’s role at Oldham Athletic last week, we’ve taken a look at who are favourites for the job at Boundary Park.
The former Manchester United player took over on the 11th of February and managed just seven games, winning only one, drew three and lost three.
They now sit 15th in the League Two table, just 10 points off the playoff zone and 15 clear from the relegation zone.
Take a look at who are the top six favourites below and on the next page.
6th) PETER CLARKE
The defender at Oldham Athletic was favourite for the job nine months ago.
On 3 January 2018, he rejoined former club Bury on loan for the remainder of the 2017–18 season; manager Chris Lucketti said that “I know all about him, he’s a real man, he’s a leader”.
Current odds on Sky Bet: 10/1
5th) DARYL MCMAHON
Daryl McMahon left Ebbsfleet United on the 7th November 2018.
His only honour as a manager is when he won the National League South playoffs in 2017.
He took the Fleet to the National League playoffs last season but lost out to Tranmere Rovers in the semi final.

4th) DINO MAAMRIA
Maamria is the current manager of fellow League Two side Stevenage who are five points off the playoffs in 10th.
