We continue our look at the favourites for Hull City manager…
3) DANNY COWLEY
Danny first grabbed the attention of the country when he and his brother took Lincoln City all the way to the FA Cup Quarter Finals in 2017, causing shocks against Ipswich, Brighton and Burnley along the way.
The Imps finished the 2016/17 season crowned champions of the National League and then in the 2017/18 season finished 7th, claiming a playoff place in their first season back in the Football League and also won the EFL Trophy at Wembley.
In the 2018/19 season Danny and Nicky Cowley’s side finished top of the League Two table and won promotion to League One.

2) STEVE MCCLAREN
McClaren is currently without a job after being sacked by Queens Park Rangers in April 2019.
The former Hull, Derby, Lincoln, Bristol City and Oxford player departed the Hoops following a 2-1 home defeat to Bolton Wanderers on the 30 March 2019 and a run of one win in 15 games.
He has previously managed Middlesbrough, England, FC Twente, VfL Wolfsburg, Nottingham Forest, Derby County and Newcastle United.
His only honours as a manager is winning the 2003/04 League Cup with Boro and the Eredivise in 2010 with FC Twente.
Current odds on Sky Bet: 5/1
1) TONY PENNOCK
Tony Pennock is the caretaker first team coach at Hull City, however he’s also favourite to become the new Yeovil Town manager.
He spent six years with Yeovil between 1995 and 2001, making over 200 appearances.
Pennock was a ‘trusted member’ of Adkins’ coaching team and is currently under contract for next season.
Current odds on Sky Bet: 3/1
