Michael Stowell is a former goalkeeper but is now first team and goalkeeping coach at Leicester City, as well as joint caretaker-manager.
He had five separate spells as caretaker manager at Leicester City in 2007, 2010, 2011, 2017 and 2019.
Current odds on Sky Bet: 5/1
2) DAVID WAGNER
Wagner is a former manager of Borussia Dortmund II and current Premier League strugglers Huddersfield Town, who departed the latter club in January after revealing that he needed to take a break from the rigours of football management.
The only managerial honour he has to his name is taking the Terriers up from the Championship through the playoffs and then miraculously guided them to Premier League safety in the first season, many tipping him for Manager of the Season and even described by The Guardian as “the Premier League’s greatest survival story”.
Current odds on Sky Bet: 7/2
1) BRENDAN ROGERS
Sunday Times readers are told: “Celtic’s Brendan Rodgers and Newcastle manager Rafa Benitez have been targeted as the first choices to replace Puel, who is not expected to keep his job beyond the end of this season.
“Rodgers’ £9 million compensation package to leave Parkhead will present no problem to cash rich Leicester.”
