The million-dollar question right now for England is, who is the best starting 11 for the Euros? While England have already kicked off their participation within the Euros, many were asking this question before the Euros began, and during the qualifiers. When England played the qualifiers against Albania and Poland, in San Marino, they were particularly analysed to make sense of who the best 11 was.

Now with the tension mounting against other competitors within the Euros, the audience around the world have come to conclusions on who they think is England’s best starting 11. Replies obviously have been mounting across the world via social media channels and fans have responded with the likes of goal keeper Dean Henderson for example, Liverpool defender Trent Alexander Arnold and James Maddison from Leicester City for example. Other chip-ins from fans include Rashford, Kane, Grealish, but alas we are all personally driven about our choices overall. Common consistent choices all over the world agree with Maddison, as he popped up quite a lot within social media selections.

Despite Alexandra-Arnold being left out from the latest squad for Southgate, plenty of people agreed that he would be the perfect 11 for England’s squad. In addition to this, Harry Maguire and John Stones was another popular choice for sport led fans, with both being a perfect centre-back pairing after all. There was even some wanting and commotion from Tyrone Mings too believe or not.

Jude Bellingham and Declan Rice were originally preferred for the central/midfield position, ahead of Henderson, but alas many did vote for him across social media channels, when large sporting pages such as SportsBible asked this question to generate an input and engagement from their following. Other popular choices which came up, but maybe not so much as the others include Phil Foden, who has quite the many international caps and over 100 appearances included within his experience. Of course, this star is also picked for the attack focus that he brings to the team, after he has showcased especially that with a great winning season for the Premier League 2020-21.

We all know that the Euros brings together input from fans all over the world, it is never usually just England fans that speak up their opinions. If we are talking strictly UK fans, we can say that they would of course select differently, as they did. Fans on social media that were strictly England based, seemed to stick their support towards Jadon Sancho, Marcus Rashford, Harry Kane and Raheem Sterling. It makes sense, as these latter are unsurprisingly always featured within the team’s selection each and every time, don’t they? So, it is quite recurring that supporters would immediately migrate to those choices, especially having these stars perform very well for their local clubs within England too. It makes complete sense really. The World Cup Qualifiers showcased these lions recently within their warm up games against Austria and Romania, meaning supporters had recent memories of such matches to push their decisions towards that too.

While we are all watching the matches slowly take place within the Euros, England were recently victorious against Croatia on Sunday, winning 1-0. While it is not the strongest start for many, it should instil the confidence of the team to plough forward against their next matches to take place within the week to come. Scotland faces England on the 18th June, which should be a huge match for many within the UK to watch of course. Following that Czech Republic will be playing England shortly after, with Tuesday the 22nd being the allotted match, at 9pm CET kick off.

Other news which has been surprising for the England team, include the replacement of Henderson for Ramsdale, which certainly got people talking. However, it was massively unavoidable as Henderson was forcibly pulled out due to injury, and that required attention and treatment back in Manchester.
