Fans take issue with Fulham’s ‘ridiculous’ ticket prices which have been announced for the upcoming Premier League fixture against Arsenal.
There is a disbelief at the cost of a single adult match ticket at £150 in the Riverside Stand, pointing out that for a family outing, the cost could escalate to £350 for three tickets, which is considered exorbitant by many fans.
The high prices are also described as “bonkers” by fans, indicating a broader sentiment that the costs are pricing out regular supporters, potentially affecting the atmosphere and loyalty of the fanbase.
Such pricing can lead to a perception that football is becoming a luxury for the wealthy rather than a sport for the community, which contradicts the idea of clubs being a “family club”.
I can’t get my head around a single adult match ticket for Fulham costing £150.
Say a Dad takes his 16 year old son and his old man in there, you’d be looking at £350 for the tickets in the Riverside Stand. Bonkers. https://t.co/mNOYLfSB27

As mentioned, fans take issue with Fulham’s ‘ridiculous’ ticket prices announced for the Arsenal fixture…
@WYSIWYG_2018: I spent many years attending, sitting in the Riverside, during the 1970’s. All the way down to the 2,500 attendances of the third division.Franky; it’s now ludicrous. I shall place blame with players’ wages.
@SufcLee: a ticket cap & ST cap is long overdue
@sw2sam: I probably go on about this. But a friend took his son to West ham game (kid is 6) 165 notes, the kids just getting into football, dad doesn’t really have a team. It’s just unaffordable for him to come back once or twice. Lost generation to Palace, Brentford etc. So short sighted!
@ClaireGffc: I dread to think what the prices are in the ” dugout”
@Here4TheFulham: Ticket prices for #ffc vs Arsenal. These costs are getting out of hand. This is a disgrace. Where will it stop? What will it take? @FulhamSuppTrust
@claretmaduk: Football isn’t a working mans game anymore. Clubs do not care
@Ridderz86: £2 off for restricted view is the 2nd piss take after the prices
@UTF1879: The greed 🤦♂️
@SimonCollins4: Disgraceful
@Follow_Follow_: London prices. EPL TV. Etc. But goodness me. 😲
@IanG1878: Another example of what PL owners want in the ground. The “Merch plastered, day out brigade” are far more valuable than us STHs who rock up, buy a couple of pints and leave straight after the game.
@davidm176: 2 whole British pounds in your pocket if you are happy to not see some of the actual event you went to see – what a bargain!
@BlueDanEFC: At least they discount £2 if you can’t see certain areas of the pitch.
@mchadders100: Reason #1644 why modern day football is so totally and utterly shit.
@ritchie13: Utterly ridiculous
@PaulMotto: Rip off Britain
