Fans took to slam Danny Murphy for a clear and obvious blunder which he made during the live FA Cup clash between Arsenal and Newcastle.
A boring 0-0 played out in the 90th minute, before Arsenal took the lead through Emile Smith Rowe, who rifled into the bottom corner in the 109th minute.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang then secured victory and the Gunners’ progression to the fourth round in the dying minutes, tapping in from point blank after Kieran Tierney’s pull-back, leaving the Magpies players laid on the pitch as their efforts count for nothing.
One amusing moment for those in the BBC Sport studio saw Gary Lineker point out to Danny Murphy his mistake regarding Newcastle goalkeeper Martin Dubravka.
There was banter between those in the commentary box and punditry desk relating to Murphy’s incorrect pronunciation of Martin Dubravka’s name.
The former Premier League midfielder Murphy, sitting alongside Steve Wilson on commentary, repeatedly referred to the keeper as Dubrovnik – a city and well known tourist destination in Croatia.

As the players got prepared for the second half of extra time, Lineker couldn’t help but point out Murphy’s error with a playful jibe.
He said: “It could come down to the two goalkeepers, Bernd Leno and Martin Dubravka… or Martin Dubrovnik, according to Danny Murphy! Let’s rejoin Steve and Danny.”
It’s safe to say the joke wasn’t appreciated by Murphy, as he replied back: “Thanks for pointing that out, Gary” with a face like of that in the photo above.
“The odd mistake in minus four. I’ve been stood up here for over 100 minutes.”
Wilson added: “Getting your Slovakian goalkeepers mixed up with Croatian holiday resorts!”
To which Murphy said: “You know what, I knew after I said it, just let it go. Of course Gary would pick it up!”
Wilson then pointed out Murphy had called Dubravka the wrong name on several occasions, saying: “If only you’d only said it once, Dan!”
Just a note for @BBCSport and Danny Murphy – if the main commentator is saying Dubravka for 120 mins, the name on the shirt says Dubravka and you are singing the guys praises. Get his name right! 3 or 4 times throughout the game!! #nufc #FACup pic.twitter.com/p9xn8nZ8PX

Gary can laugh all he wants, but he knows all to well about making mistakes whilst on air, as he was also criticised but on Match of the Day a little while back.
Lineker made a mistake that enraged Sheffield United and Sheffield Wednesday supporters on Twitter during the special tribute.

He ended up apologising after he could be heard stating that the English footballing icon managed the Blades when it was actually the Owls.
In his apology, he clarified his comments after making an error in his tribute to Charlton, who passed away at the age of 85 after he had been diagnosed with lymphoma in the last year and also suffered from dementia.
Tributes came from everyone associated with the sport towards the the former Leeds centre-back, who went on to manage Middlesbrough, Sheffield Wednesday and Newcastle as well as the Republic of Ireland.
Premier League teams took part in a minute’s silence before Saturday’s fixtures, while Match of the Day opened with a special mention remembering the Three Lions legend.
However, Lineker’s error during the show’s introduction left a horrid mark on a day of remembrance.
“After playing, manager Jack, with Middlesbrough, Sheffield United, Newcastle. And then the leap of faith. The manager of Ireland, who took the Republic to places they had never been,” Lineker said.
Lineker went on to apologise for the mistake and offer a clarification later in the show.
After the highlights from West Ham’s 4-0 win over Norwich City, which relegated the Canaries, Lineker added: “We’ll come to the game shortly.
“But first, I’d like to apologise for our opening tribute to Jack Charlton, where I listed the clubs he managed as obviously Newcastle and I said Sheffield United instead of Sheffield Wednesday, which it obviously was.
“So, sincere apologies for that.”

@ToonMouthTyne: Agreed mate, it was embarrassing and shows a lack of effort/intelligence. If you’re gonna be a pundit where millions of viewers are listening to you, have the respect to learn how to correctly say a player’s surname.
