Fans left concerned for woman who is knocked down in crazy limbs from Reading supporters

Fans have been left concerned for a woman who is knocked down in the crazy limbs from Reading supporters on Friday afternoon.

An elderly lady is seen in vanishing as supporters rush to celebrate a 90th minute winner, with footage taken from the game at Sheffield United going viral.

Paul Ince’s side edged closer to securing their Championship status with a dramatic victory which dented the Blades’ promotion hopes.

Tom McIntyre poked home in stoppage time after Iliman Ndiaye thought he had saved a point for Sheffield United with an equaliser a minute earlier.

Lucas Joao put Reading ahead in the first-half thanks to his shot from the edge of the penalty area that looked like being the only goal of the game.

However McIntyre got on the end of Michael Morrison’s nod-down following a free kick sent in by Baba Rahman to lift his side nine points clear of the relegation zone with four games remaining.

Despite a win for struggling Peterborough against Blackburn, the Royals look set to survive after Barnsley, who have a game in hand, could only draw at Swansea that left them 10 points adrift of safety with five games to play.

Sheffield United dropped a place to sixth with a first home defeat in 13 games but remain in the playoff places with four games to play after fellow contenders Middlesbrough and Blackburn also dropped points.

Reading’s away win was their first in five games and, despite a challenging season off the field with a points deduction, in all likelihood Championship football for another season.

Sheffield United’s Paul Heckingbottom: “You look at where we are now, we have got four games left. It’s turned into a sprint. The games are going to get tighter, nervier and more important than that one. The big takeaway message is that we need to make better decisions. I thought the emotion of scoring and the stadium erupting affected our next two minutes. Although we did have young players on the pitch who maybe made mistakes in that moment, we had more than enough experience to get set up properly and deal with the threat.

“The first few minutes we started well. We were under no illusions how tough the game was going to be. The game didn’t surprise us one bit, they were going to be tough to break down, they would be a threat on the counter. When you go behind to a team with that style of play, it is set up perfectly for them.”

Reading’s Paul Ince: “It was a fantastic performance from the boys. Since I have come here, they have been progressing and getting better. It was the best I have seen them play under me. When we won the ball we cut them apart, nice precise quick passing. It was a proper, proper team and that’s what you need when you’re playing in the Championship, against these top teams. And Sheffield United are a top team.

“I must say (the win was) thoroughly deserved. We had so many chances, two or three great chances in the first half. I thought we deserved to be rewarded with one, two or three more goals. It’s a tough place and to respond the way we did after conceding that late goal shows everything about this team. They have got togetherness and spirit amongst them now. And to go and grab that winner shows everything you need to know about this team.”

As mentioned, some fans were left concerned for a woman who is knocked down in the crazy limbs from Reading supporters, others thought it was funny as she gave it all she got trying to celebrate…
