Fans have been left angered after hearing new kick off times introduced and changes to the Premier League TV schedule in the near future.
The Premier League will be offering live television coverage of every Sunday match in 2024/25 in a major change to their broadcast rights strategy, like they did during the Covid pandemic.
Mail Sport claim that this comes due to an increase in matches to be broadcasted each season, going from 200 up to 270 with all Sunday matches likely to be available by the start of the 2024-25 campaign.
Unfortunately it will see a kick off times from 12pm up to 7pm.
EXCL šØEvery Sunday Premier League game will be on live TV from the season after next – but fans face midday and 7pm kick-offs at weekends

If this is brought in, it’s said that clubs participating in the Europa League will benefit from a huge cash boost of around Ā£1m-per-match in a Premier League facilities fee as all their games on the subsequent weekend would be broadcasted.
We will also see a rise in the amount of games televised on a Friday and Monday night from the 2024-25 season as the Premier League look to bring in higher offers from broadcasters in an auction later this year.
Daily Mail also report that the 20 games package that Amazon Prime have, will also go completely.
Sky Sports and TNT Sport will launch major bids for rights between 2024 to 2027, with Amazon, Apple TV and Disney also interested.
As mentioned, fans are left angered after hearing new kick off times and changes to the Premier League TV schedule…
@NorthBankB9: Fans donāt want 7pm. This country canāt accommodate travel!
@Jonnyarsenal: 7pm on a Sunday would be hilarious. Have you tried getting a train? š
@Callum0715: That is a fucking joke. How are we supposed to get back from away games?
@lee_eyres: They could achieve this by changing the ‘normal’ game time to 2 pm Sunday, rather than messing up away fans chances on getting home.
@DarrenArsenal1: Nobody who goes would ever want 7pm weekend kick offs. Travel Carnage
@Bewsh88: No match-going fan wants to go to 7pm kick-offs on a Sunday. Absolutely horrendous day to travel on with reduced services – Iām also not a fan of Friday/Monday night matches as theyāre just unnecessary.
@adamdnathan: 7pm on a Sunday is the sort of kick off time where every fan should agree to boycott without hesitation. No one wants to be at football then
@AFCFixtureNews: Greed, greed and more greed; even the Premier League doesnāt give a toss about the match going fans.
@J__Harrison1: Unfortunately match going fans are the minority, the amount of Sunday games untelevised since conference league was never gonna continue
@villa4ever29: Fans count for f*** all.š¤¬š¤¬
@Bevlar90: Which means hundreds of fans have to pay inflated prices for hotels and take a day off the following day. Just utter lunacy
@SG_EFC: absolute nonsense again from a league and FA that doesnt give a shite about the fans.. where is the outcry @GNev2 @Carra23⦠there wont be any as it makes you both money..
@CallumEakins2: Iām all for watching as much PL football as possible but there was nothing wrong with the old super Sunday format of 1:30/4:00 or 2:00/4:30. Fans now faced with an away trip to god knows where for a 7pm KO on a Sunday night. Joke of a decision which puts profits before fans
@ElmigoRed: Imagine Newcastle away on a Sunday at 7pm. An idea dreamt up by those who do not attend matches. Put all the games on tv. Let people watch what they want. Keep the games at times people who want to attend can go to. Itās not rocket science.
@ZG1999_:
Going back to the Covid era?
Sun 1200
Sun 1405
Sun 1630
Sun 1915
@SamH_AFC: 7pm on a Sunday is gonna be a fucking nightmare for away fans. How about this… ABOLISH THE OUTDATED 3PM BLACKOUT!?!
@SherzCapone00: Changing everything except the 3pm Saturday black out, which is what the fans really want lol
@jaidoocey: Match going fans get fucked again
@Jack_Hobson96: Piss off. Sunday night games shouldāve stayed in lockdown
@THFCsaunders: Sunday 7pm games will be a nightmare for most games with this countries public transport.
@BJWCR2: Glad Iāve done my time of going every game because these times are only getting worse for match going fans. Soon every game will be on the box with semi full stadiums
@CT02798: Sunday football is the pits as it is, 7pm on a Sunday can royally get to fuck
@LoftusCheeked: 7pm Sunday tryna get home⦠what a mare lmao
@robbieg15_: Just when you thought broadcasters showed enough contempt for match-going fans, they go & do something even more thoughtless.
@CarrollsClobber: 12pm, 2pm, 4pm. That’s all you need. Fuck off with 7pm. May as well stay in London and go straight to work on the Monday. Pricks.
@johndavidrees: Especially given the state of the railways atm
@CDFRed123: Getting rid of the 3pm broadcasting embargo would probably reduce the need for 7pm kick-offs on a Sunday
@Anthony_Hacking: This will kill off the WSL
@Ollie_Davis: Nobody wants to go to football on a fucking Sunday night. Itās as if theyāve asked fans which kick-off time is the most inconvenient and decided to mug us all off.
@CBailey31: The @premierleague are so out of touch with fans that go to games and care more about fans watching on TV
@AranNicol1994: Bring back old football trains then if thatās the case. Transport for fans is fucking shocking and when you imagine the billions invested season on season, itās a small price to pay. Canāt just accommodate fans who watch from home.
