The FA Trophy returned this weekend and once again we got to see more upsets being produced up and down the country.
It was the Third Qualifying Round which included teams from tiers 6, 7 and 8. A total of 5 teams managed to cause a shock against opponents in a higher league than themselves.
Boston United were one of four teams from tier 6 in the English football pyramid to be knocked out. They were defeated 1-0 by Northern Premier League side Atherton Collieries. Michael Brewster getting the only goal of the game which came in the 88th minute.
