Ex-Premier League and EFL journeyman, Colin Kazim-Richards, 37, announces he’s joined the coaching staff at his former club Arsenal.
He previously spent three years with the Gunners’ academy during his youth career, in which he also had spells with Interwood, Queens Park Rangers and Bury.
Colin wrote via his Twitter account: “I am pleased to announce that I am officially part of the @Arsenal academy coaching team.
“It is an honor to be part of a club so renowned for its commitment to excellence and development.”
At the end of May 2024, he was with Elneny, Xhaka, Defoe, Cedric and Arsenal assistant manager Carlos Cuesta, doing a coaching course.
He tweeted along with some photos: “It is with great pleasure that I announce the completion of the UEFA A License, in partnership with @FA and @PFA.
“Last year was an incredible experience, culminating in 3 intense days at St George’s Park, where I had the privilege of working with an extremely talented group.”

The Leyton born former footballer started out with Interwood in 1995, before coming through the youth set-up at Bury, joining the Shakers at the age of 15.
He then broke into the first-team scene whilst still a teenager and his impressive displays in League Two saw then-Championship club Brighton & Hove Albion secure his services for £250,000 in the summer of 2005.
He went on to sign for Sheffield United in the Premier League a year later, before then making the move abroad to Turkish top-flight outfit Fenerbahce ahead of the 2007/08 season.
From that point, Kazim-Richards has gone on to play in Turkey, France, Greece, Holland, Scotland, Mexico and Brazil.
On the international stage, Kazim-Richards made 37 appearances for Turkey between 2008 and 2015 – scoring twice – and was part of their 2008 Euros squad as they reached the Semi-Final stage.
