Former footballer Neil Shipperley has been sentenced after he admitted to flashing and performing a sex act in front of a mum and her 16-year-old daughter.
Back in September, ex-Crystal Palace, Barnsley, Brentford, Nottingham Forest, Chelsea, Southampton and Sheffield United player exposed himself from a white van as they walked along a street.
Shipperley pleaded guilty to a charge of intentionally exposing his genitals intending that someone would see them and be caused alarm or distress.
He now must complete 20-days of rehabilitation as part of the order given at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court.
Here he is scoring the winner for Crystal Palace in the 2004 Championship playoff final against West Ham United to secure promotion to the Premier League.

Prosecutor Taranjit Rai said: “The defendant was driving along then stopped and wound down his window.
“They thought he was letting them cross the road. The victim turned around to say thank you and saw he was holding his penis and looking at her face.”
He added that Shipperley followed them in his van before stopping in Hayes and performed a sex act.
The mum and daughter went to a police station to report him, however he ended up turning himself in as they arrived.
Mr Rai added: “He apologised and admitted he had a problem.
“He said, ‘It was totally unacceptable and, for the record, I did not know she was a kid’.”
His lawyer Sarah O’Kane told Uxbridge magistrates: “He accepts that he had his penis out but was not masturbating in the usual sense of the word.”
In a victim impact statement, the mother said: “Some people may see flashers as pests or a nuisance to society. My view of Neil Shipperley is as a predator. His aim was to intimidate us, to violate us, to shock us and to scare us.”
Shipperley, who also made 7 appearances for England U21 and managed North Greenford United between 2011 and 2014, must also complete 120 hours’ unpaid work and pay a £90 victim surcharge, £85 in costs and £200 in compensation.
He is subject to a five-year sexual offences notification requirement order and must report to Hayes police station within three days.
