Several England players reveal to talkSPORT what they’ll do to celebrate if the Three Lions can go on to win Euro 2024.
England have gone 58 years since they last got their hands on a trophy, winning the World Cup, and have never won the a European Championship in the men’s game.
So you can imagine just how wild the celebrations will be if Gareth Southgate’s side are able to prevail against Spain in Berlin on Sunday.
The likes of Declan Rice, Phil Foden, Kyle Walker and Ivan Toney were asked what they’d do to celebrate if England won the Euros. See their response below…
Foden: “Spray paint my hair”
Toney: “I’ve got a tattoo planned…”

Interviewer Faye Carruthers: “Basically, I’m saying, what would Phil Foden do if England won the Euros? Which is the question that I asked you last time. And look at this barnet. Have a hold of this.”
Foden: “You know what I said?”
Foden on old footage: “If we win it, I told the team that they have to get the same haircut as me and they all agreed. So hopefully, if we win it, you’ll see everyone with the same haircut.”
Interviewer: “Does that still stand or if you win, what’s the plan?”
Foden: “I mean, I have to speak to the lads to see what they say, but, yeah, I’m going to push for it. Let’s see what happens.”
Interviewer: “What would be a backup? If they all say no”
Foden: “It’s a bit of spray paint in your hair, you know, whatever colour they choose. Do something funky for a team photo feel like. Yeah, it’d go down well.”
Interviewer: “St George’s?”
Foden: “Yeah. Maybe that we’ll have to see. Obviously I’ll have to speak to him.”
Toney: “I’ll tell you after the final.”
Interviewer: “Okay, so if. Oh, okay. So if England win the Euros, what’s the tattoo?”
Toney: “I’m not too sure, but it’ll be a good one.”
Interviewer: “Yeah. Any art? You must have thought about it.”
Toney: “Maybe, but I’ll keep it to myself til the end.”
Interviewer to Toney: “That’s a shame. All right. I’ll try and get that out of you over the next few weeks, for sure.
Interviewer to Walker: “Three years ago, when I asked you what you’d do if England won the euros because Jack Grealish had said that he’d go to Vegas and Declan Rice had said he’d have his first beer.”
Walker: “Yeah.”
Interviewer: “You said, I don’t know, I’ll let talk sport listeners decide. And I said to you, that is dangerous.”
Walker: “And I’ll stick with that. I’d let talksport listeners decide what I have to do. If England win the European Championship.”
Interviewer: “You’re not even going to put an asterisk of. ‘Within reason’.”
Walker: “No, no, no. All boundaries. All boundaries are off, right?”
Ahead of Euro 2024, Toney spoke more the 50 or so tattoos he’s got, saying: “All the family ones are my favourite. I’ve got my sisters, my mum and dad, my children and everyone close to me so it’s like pictures of them and I like to get memorable pictures.
“When I was younger I wanted my first tattoo, I was 17 but my dad said I had to wait until I’m 18 and earn it.
“I think I scored my first goal for Northampton and straight after I asked if I could get my first tattoo and he said I had to get a meaningful one which is the one across my chest which says, ‘Suffer the pain of discipline or suffer the pain of regret.’
“That’s something I stand by very strongly and after that I haven’t looked back.”
As mentioned, Declan Rice meanwhile has promised to down his first proper pint of beer if England beat Spain in the Euro 2024 final.
He surprised talkSPORT host Alan Brazil when revealing before the Euro final against Italy in 2021 that he lives a tee-total life.
Rice didn’t get to to this after losing the final at Wembley on penalties, but now he’s now got a second shot at drinking ALL of his first beer this year if England get the job done.
Rice said: “I remember saying that [before the last final]. Since then, I’ve had a beer, but I had it with a bit of lemonade! If we win, I’ll have a proper beer. I’ll probably have to hold my nose, as I hate the smell!”
After the previous Euros final, he revealed: “I actually haven’t had a pint, but I did try a beer after the Euros. I tried it, but I didn’t like it.
“The taste and smell of it are not for me. I’ve seen my dad after a few pints… I don’t want to get like him!”
He also said this week that he’d sing ‘Rice Rice, Baby’ if England win, as it would be a special memory to create with the fans.
