Duncan Ferguson amuses fans with his giddy sing song in his car at a petrol station it would seem after beating Sheffield Wednesday.
A short clip emerged on social media of the moment, being recorded by those in the vehicle at the opposite pump, laughing as they watched on with surprise and glee.
The Everton legend had a little boogie along to Pointer Sisters song ‘Slow Hand’ having just secured his first victory as Forest Green Rovers manager.
Coming into Sunday’s League One clash, with the two sides at opposite ends of the table, Rovers were one of only two teams in the country who were yet to have recorded a single victory in 2023.
I don’t have a clue who took this video so can’t credit them but I absolutely love this bloke big Dunc @FGRFC_Official I think this was all of us yesterday 🤣🤣🤣 pic.twitter.com/uSuEFn6UlR

Jordan D’Andre Garrick’s goal in the first half proved to be enough for Rovers to seal three crucial points in their fight to avoid relegation.
Ferguson was delighted with the outcome, even though we didn’t need the evidence, as can be seen in the video above, and the post-match celebrations in which he lifted up a child and celebrated with fans.
While he was not quite singing and dancing into the camera, he definitely had a spring in his step when he did his post match interview. “I think everybody deserved that today,” he said to Sky Sports after the game. “I thought the boys put an incredible shift in.
“It’s a proud moment for myself and a proud moment for the fans to topple one of the big boys in the league. It’s tough because you know you’ve got to be perfect for most of the game – and I thought we were.
“They hardly created any chances, other than long balls into our box, and we defended them well. We created the better chances and should have been two or three up. The boys were absolutely fantastic today.”
His side remain 11 points adrift of safety – but this performance and result could be the start of a fight back, a potential turn in form, and will need a miracle to stay up.

Jordon Garrick passed a late fitness test to play against the Owls on Sunday. He said post-match: “I’m absolutely buzzing for the boys,” said Garrick. “We’ve been working hard on the training ground to get the win – and it’s a weight off the shoulders to get it.
“We’ve had a few draws and last minute goals go against us, so to see it out is great. I can’t praise everybody enough. It’s hard to go without a win for as many games as we have done. To get the three points is fantastic.
“I had a really late fitness test to get through the game. There was no way I was missing the game. I never want to miss a game, I want to help the team as much as I can. I’d have hobbled onto the pitch even if I’d had a broken leg today.”
“You never really see games where we’re completely out of it,” he added. “We’re always in games and we’re always trying our best. It’s about time we got a slice of luck. The confidence we can take from that is massive. It proves we can do it.
“It’s about putting more chances away now. We need to help out the defenders. They’re breaking their backs to keep the ball out of the net, and us attackers need to put it in the other net.”
Sheffield Wednesday’s Darren Moore said: “Sometimes in football you have to say you didn’t deserve anything and I think that was the case today.
“We had a lot of the ball but we didn’t get into the right areas or do the right things with the ball.
“Credit to Forest Green, they had a really good shape and defended very well. They made it very difficult for us but that’s what you get at this stage of the season when teams are fighting for their lives.”
Moore stressed there was no hint of complacency as his side faced the team propping up the division:
“Absolutely not. The preparation was exactly the same, the intensity, the mentality and the mindset.
“But it’s important we look forward and we all stick together on and off the pitch. The players have to put their anger and disappointment into the next few days as we prepare for Cheltenham.”
