Jurgen Klopp has been left unimpressed with a journalist once again in his pre match press conference and also ripped into Didi Hamann.
The Liverpool boss, preparing for tonight’s second part of the Battle of Britain against Rangers, reacted with anger following the criticism from the former Liverpool player.
Hamann reckons the Klopp era might be close to coming to an end and said the current team is lacklustre.
“I heard the phrase after the game against Arsenal used that Liverpool ‘need a spark,’ what do you feel…” a journalist asked before he was cut off.
“Do me a favour and ask your own question” 😳

“Who said that?” Klopp enquired.
“Didi Hamann,” he was told.
“Oh great,” Klopp sarcastically retorted, “He’s a fantastic source. Well respected everywhere.”
“Former Liverpool midfielder, obviously,” the reporter said.
“That doesn’t give you the right to say anything you want, especially when you have no idea,” Klopp said.
Finally getting his question out, the journalist said, “Well I’m asking you, do you feel that you need, I mean, where do you see a spark, if it’s a spark that you need?
“I actually think, Didi Hamann doesn’t deserve that you use his phrase to ask me a question. Do me a favour, and ask your own question,” answered Klopp.
“We won’t use that phrase then. What is it that you feel you need…” the journalist said whilst once again being interrupted.
“Try to ask a question without using the word spark, that’s the challenge now,” the boss piped up with.
“No spark in there. What is it you feel you need to get that momentum going then Jurgen?” the journalist responded.
“We have to keep fighting. It will not happen overnight and especially not when you look at the Arsenal game…” Klopp finally got round to answering the matter at hand.
😬 “This Liverpool team look tired, pedestrian and they just look flat.”#LFC legend Didi Hamann discusses his former side…🤔

Speaking to talkSPORT, Hamann had said, “This Liverpool team looks tired, they look pedestrian and they just look flat. I’m not sure where the spark is going to come from because they’ve won games in the past.
“They beat Rangers a few days ago but they’re obviously far superior to Rangers. I trust that they’ll know where the spark is going to come from but whether it’s the end of an era?
“I wouldn’t write them off, but my imagination doesn’t let me see where the spark is going to come from in the next few weeks.”
Klopp is under growing pressure after his side’s difficult start to the season continued on Sunday with a defeat against Arsenal.
It leaves last season’s runners up sitting 10th in the Premier League and already 14 points behind the Gunners, and 13 behind last season’s champions Manchester City.
Whilst the loss to Mikel Arteta’s side could b blamed on the controversial referee decisions, which continued to come out with a revelation about VAR not seeing the first goal, it was the 6th time this season Klopp’s side have dropped points, only four less than the entirety of the previous league campaign.
The start to 2022/23 has led to some questions about Klopp, who has just celebrated seven years at Liverpool, however that was the same duration spent at both Mainz and Borussia Dortmund before deciding to call it a day.
Klopp’s side can put themselves on the verge of qualifying from their Champions League group if they claim victory at Ibrox and Napoli beat Ajax, having thrashed them 6-1 last week.
This is what fans had to say as Jurgen Klopp was left unimpressed with the journalist…
@38wcr: Things you love to see 😂😂
@a779457: I mean he’s not wrong on Hamann but wow this guy really gets rattled when it’s not going his way 😂
@DerekAndrewHay1: This guy cracks me up. He’s won a couple of trophies and that somehow gives him god like status within the game. He complains endlessly about fixtures, about the away grounds or the tactics of the opposition. He’s under pressure and he can’t handle it
@MattySixTimes: 😂😂😂 Jurgen knows the craic
@Boxingscience20: Nothing gets past Jurgen.
@AlexLewis1986: Tbf Hamman isn’t wrong
@JonnoLovesLFC: Well said gaffer 👏👏 The disrespect Hamann gives to LFC is absolutely disgusting especially as he played for us for so many years!😡

@utv_chris: He could just answer 💀
@RyanRobinson86: Rattled!!! 😂😂 Hamann doesn’t have to be a fantastic source to have an opinion. It’s clear to see Liverpool have lost something. It’s fucking great to see him nearly crying in interviews aswel 🤣🤣
@LeeMason5: 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 he’s lost it. The charming man with the cute fist pumps at the end of the match has gone
@MJ90113368: He acts like a wanker all of the time now. Man under pressure.
@jng_93: Sour shite when things don’t go his way. You love to see it
