Djed Spence has been randomly spotted riding a Lime bike around London – with the unusual sighting quickly getting football fans talking.
The England international was filmed out and about in the capital on Tuesday, looking relaxed as he rode one of London’s recognisable green hire bikes.
Spence certainly wasn’t keeping a particularly low profile either.

Wearing sunglasses and an all-black outfit, the former Tottenham Hotspur defender could be seen alongside what appeared to be a camera crew.
The clip was posted on social media by Djed Spence HQ, who wrote: “A fan randomly spotted Djed Spence riding a lime bike in england today.”
Credit was given to @dalstonchronicals for the footage.
The timing of the sighting is particularly interesting given Spence’s current situation at Inter Milan.
Spence working towards long-awaited Inter debut
Spence completed a permanent move from Tottenham to Inter in August, signing a contract with the Italian giants until June 2031.
However, the 26-year-old is still waiting to make his competitive debut for his new club after fitness problems delayed the start of his Inter career.
Italian reports have indicated that Spence’s recovery is now nearing its conclusion.
Gazzetta dello Sport reported this week that the wing-back is expected to be available when Serie A resumes following the international break.
Spence is currently following an individual recovery programme, with Inter’s players not away on international duty due to resume group training next Monday. The target is for him to be available when Inter host Parma at San Siro on October 10.
That provides some context to his unexpected appearance back in London, rather than necessarily suggesting the defender has gone AWOL from his rehabilitation.
Spence initially returned to training on the pitch earlier this month after spending the opening weeks following his transfer working his way back towards full fitness.
His wait has been frustrating after an impressive 2026 World Cup with England, where he helped the Three Lions finish third before moving from Tottenham to Italy.

Unsurprisingly, seeing an England international casually travelling through London on a Lime bike generated plenty of reaction online.
One fan simply wrote: “What a legend.”
Another noticed the people accompanying Spence and commented: “Full Camera crew filming him… 🤷♂️”
A third said: “I fucking miss him.”
Others appeared surprised that the defender was back in England, with one replying: “came in there chillll.”
Another Tottenham supporter added: “Should have never sold him.”
There were also fans discussing Spence’s absence from the latest England squad, with one writing: “shame he wasnt called up.”
The camera crew accompanying Spence may eventually provide an explanation for his London appearance.
For now, though, supporters have been left amused by the rather unexpected sight of Inter’s summer signing cruising through the capital on a Lime bike while preparing for the next chapter of his career in Italy.
