After writing about the racist abuse he got during his side’s game against Risborough Rangers on social media, the Didcot player got a huge amount of fans expressed their shock but also offered their support…
I hope this is dealt with not only by the FA but the police as well. NO ONE should have to go through this. I really hope you continue to play and enjoy your football. Dont let some narrow minded **** stop you doing your thing!! ?

Shocking news!! Absolutely no place in football for that! So the ref never heard it but players and spectators did! @fa @kickitout have got to be doing more at grassroots level not just the top! #kickitout

So sorry to hear this, it’s appalling that this still exists. Not sure what else I could say as have obviously never experienced this. Together we can eradicate this nonsense from everyday society

There is @TheFA protocol for dealing with this type of incident which it sets out what should happen EVEN if the referee didn’t hear it. I’m sorry the referee dismissed your comments. They should have taken notes, reported it to the County FA and let them investigate the matter.

@samgillespie5: Disgusting, there are no words to describe these people!! Having played with Rob at Harwell you are a fantastic player and should be very proud of yourself
@damoA8375: No place for this or any abuse in football!! The referee may not have heard it but surely other fans must have!!! Time to self regulate #kickitout @kickitout
@leswren1: Shocking I hope the person responsible is identified and banned form all football and prosecuted by the police.
@lukenev13: Absolutely disgusting… I play in the Sussex area and to be fair it’s very rare where we are to hear racial stuff but we did have it in one game and the ref called off the game straight away.. Shame this doesn’t happen more often as it’s bang out of order..
@NonLeagueCrowd: In 2019 I just can’t understand the seeming increase in racism in society and in #football – after so many high profile cases (Sterling, Rashford, Abrahams and Pogba) and it sickens me to the core that this is spreading to the #nonleague game. Stay strong!!
@gwladysmattEFC: Uneducated bellends the lot of them, the referee needs to investigate as opposed to brushing the old “I never heard it” phrase. Bunch of cowards pal! Don’t let it stop you playing the game we all love ??⚽️
