Dejphon Chansiri shoves a provoking young fan while a Sheffield Wednesday pitch invader confronts stewards with a corner flag.
Sheffield Wednesday’s victory over West Brom at Hillsborough was marred after a fan wielding a corner flag confronted stewards, only to get booed off by his own club’s supporters.
Several fans rushed onto the pitch to celebrate the Owls’ 3-0 win, but the situation turned sour when the individual brandished the flag and threatened security and stewards.
Despite an initial confrontation near the penalty area, the fan was taken towards the goalmouth where stewards managed to detain him.
Chants of “w***er, w***er” had been sung at the pitch invader as he was led away.
Another video shows Sheffield Wednesday chairman Dejphon Chansiri being filmed shoving a young fan after being taunted at Hillsborough.
The fan appeared to stop Chansiri for a selfie, only to fool him by then doing a video instead, and sang ‘get out of our club, Dejphon Chansiri, get out of club’ while standing in front of him, looking to get a reaction from him.
Chansiri was less than impressed by the young fan and then shoved him out of the way before walking away.
The young fan in the clip is heard saying ‘ouch’ before being escorted away by security who told him to ‘stop being an idiot’ before the video cut off.
The boy’s father, Dean Percival, shared the video and said: ‘My son getting hit by the Sheffield Wednesday chairman!’
He added: ‘This video just about shows his arrogance and not understanding of the English game!’.

It came after Danny Rohl’s side boosted their Championship survival hopes with goals from Anthony Musaba, Ike Ugbo and Josh Windass stopping West Brom from confirming their playoff place.
Speaking after the game, Rohl said: ‘It was a big performance from my team. I’m really proud of my team, beating a top-six team.
‘We were playing against a strong side when you look at how they play and how they press. We were defending as a team and we defended our box towards the end as if it was 1-0. We wanted a clean sheet.
‘From the last five games we have taken 11 points, which is an average of two points per game, which is not so bad. It’s a big improvement. The mind-set is right and it was outstanding for me today.
‘I think since I arrived here, we have always talked about the process and the journey. This helps when you have bad results and it helps as well when you have good results.
‘You see the table and we are still not over the line. We are not still safe. It means that for us we keep going and work hard next week. Then hopefully we can celebrate.
‘I think we will go for three points. For me it is not a time to celebrate or be lazy. If we are lazy then we have a problem.’
West Brom boss Carlos Corberan said: ‘I think there were some moments of the game. In the first half it was equal. They didn’t create many chances and we didn’t create many chances.
‘I think it’s clear that we didn’t compete at the level which was needed today to be able to pick up the result we wanted.
‘It’s important now to analyse the reasons for that. We are one group of players and one group of staff members who will always take responsibility. You have to find the solutions on the back of a result like this.
‘The first goal for them was a goal where we cleared the first ball but they put it straight back in and scored. We have to manage those situations much better.
‘We couldn’t use any of our opportunities to score. It’s important now to find the solutions. In football, the only important thing is how you finish after 46 matches. We know that we have to win the next game to achieve our objective.’
Twitter users reacted after Dejphon Chansiri shoves a provoking young fan; while a Sheffield Wednesday pitch invader confronts stewards with a corner flag…
ON THE FAN AND CHANSIRI:
@alexco589: I’d be embarrassed if my son did that, pathetic.
@Damianhodges73: Me nan hit me harder for nicking her boiled sweets 🙄🙄
@stompaspops: Why use your son to get likes?
@Benno1uk: Disgusting behaviour from your son and even worse from you for posting this and condoning it and tagging newspapers in. Clearly trying to make money out of this. Hopefully it backfires on you.
@all_wednesday: You and your son should be both given a clip, embarrassing behaviour.
@waynejackson84: Got the reaction he deserves in my opinion. Not saying it’s not right, but neither is baiting a man for a reaction then crying about it when he gives you one.
@BlinkaRegi: He deserved it, giving it big un and then crying when someone stands up for themselves 😂😂
@mchadders100: Man gets his son to intentionally goad someone whilst filming it, then cries and tags everyone into a tweet after getting a reaction. Some dad.
@bengraney: Only one thing embarrassing here and that’s you sunshine. Absolutely do one to the other side of the city
@damianwfoster: Embarrassing behaviour, you’d expect his father to correct his behaviour and guide him as to how best to show respect/behave appropriately. Comments from the father prove otherwise, sad really… hope you have some other good role models in your life young man.
@MrAntHayes: Your boy tried to be clever and got a clip
@Tcckyn21: Pathetic behaviour on both sides, soft push at best. I’m very much chansiri out btw
@deaks83: Cant believe you’ve posted this like you’re proud of it 🙈
@lewy_88: Got the clip he deserves.
@reorgegoberts: i want Chansiri to sell up. But this just seems distasteful. i’m also hoping he’s learned from his mistakes and will back Danny Rohl as he is quite literally our golden ticket. However, if he fucks things up with Danny it’s surely got to be the last straw
@The_Fletch22: What a way to take shine off a great day . By your son been a helmet 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️have some class
@ShaunOsgathorpe: He didn’t hit him. He got pushed, and if my son did that at hillsborough, I would punish my son. It’s classified as disrespectful
@adam7485: Scummy behaviour that. Embarrassing
@tommyuto: All you’ve done is make more people side with Chansiri here tbf
ON THE PITCH INVADER:
@amelia_tamsins: Our own fans threatening the stewards with our corner flag, when we’re not even 100% safe is the most Wednesday end to the season ever…🤦🏼♀️😂😂 Onto Sunderland 🍻
@LukeLaister: Every set of fans have their own idiots. It still amazes me why grown adults behave like this. Grow up.
@_Brian1867: Can tell they haven’t been to a game all season, get fucked
@JoeButlerUK: Well, that’s him never visiting Hillsborough again.
@TaitBarratt: Imagine running on pitch thinking your ace then having wanker shouted at you by fans who support the same club
@majortarantino: Hope he enjoys his lifetime ban
@jamescowley22: Got to be banned.
@adam7485: Embarrassing
@higgins78: Loved the fact everyone else were just chanting wanker at them both
