Sky Sports pundit David Prutton has given his predictions for some Football League fixtures.
The former Nottingham Forest, Southampton, Leeds, Swindon, Sheffield Wednesday and England U21 footballer who currently works as a presenter, pundit and commentator has given score predictions on FOURTEEN matches.
Twelve of the fixtures are from the Championship and one each from League One and League Two.
After looking at majority of his predictions, it’s found that he’s rather accurate and that if you put the scores he’s gone with into a table, it is very similar to the current standings.
See what he went with below and on the next few pages…
CARDIFF v SHEFFIELD WED
The score David Prutton has predicted for this game is: 1-2
He said on Sky Sports’ website: “Cardiff are turning into a ‘home’ team in the Championship this year, which is strange because they were very good at picking up points on the road in their promotion season in 2017/18.
“Garry Monk will be pleased enough with the start he has had at Sheffield Wednesday, picking up 10 points from his five games so far. Despite Cardiff’s good home form, I actually fancy the Owls to nick a win.”

BLACKBURN v HUDDERSFIELD
The score David Prutton has predicted for this game is: 2-2
He said on Sky Sports’ website: “Every time you think Blackburn might be in with a shout of the top six, they go on another poor little run which shows they probably aren’t quite there.
“The international break may have come at a bad time for Huddersfield, who were just building up a head of steam and start the weekend outside of the relegation zone after back-to-back wins. Draw here for me.”

LEEDS v BIRMINGHAM
The score David Prutton has predicted for this game is: 3-1
He said on Sky Sports’ website: “Leeds have had a couple of weeks to dwell on that fairly unfortunate defeat at Millwall, and they will be keen to bounce back. Eddie Nketiah impressed again for England Under-21s but you reckon Marcelo Bielsa will stick with Patrick Bamford again up front.
“Birmingham got a great win against Middlesbrough before the international break to end a run of three straight defeats. They nicked it late but it was a great performance and it only served to highlight how inconsistent they have been because sometimes you watch them and they are really poor. Leeds should have too much for the Blues.”

READING v PRESTON
The score David Prutton has predicted for this game is: 1-2
He said on Sky Sports’ website: “Mark Bowen has got a bit of work to do to win over the home fans at the Madejski after his move from sporting director to manager of Reading. I certainly didn’t see it coming!
“There aren’t many tougher challenges in the Championship than facing Preston at the moment, although Alex Neil’s side are much better at home than away. That being said, I still fancy them to be too good for Reading.”

STOKE v FULHAM
The score David Prutton has predicted for this game is: 2-2
He said on Sky Sports’ website: “What a result for Stoke and Nathan Jones that was before the international break. A winless side that are bottom of the table going to the league leaders and nicking a last-gasp victory just sums up this crazy division.
“Fulham start the weekend outside of the top six, but they are still just three points off the lead, which is more like where they need to be. Score draw here.”
