Dagenham & Redbridge fans make their voices heard in protest as they fall to a 3-1 defeat against Tamworth on Saturday afternoon.
The result meant that the Daggers sit 20th in the National League with 36 points from 37 games played, on the same points as Wealdstone who sit 21st (drop zone), but have two games in hand.
Tamworth meanwhile are up to 11th with 51 points from 38 games played and 5 points from the playoff places.
But the home fans took aim at the running of the club and also voiced their frustration after the showing from their side…

Dagenham’s Lewis Young said post-match: Yeah look look beyond the football match and the defeat I think there was a lot of conflict and a lot of anger a lot of frustration in at the start and at the end and during the game today and that’s that was really difficult and tough to manage from our players in terms of not being a part of that before, so that was something that we have to get right and make sure that we get to the bottom of.
“And then yeah look we’re 1-0 up, cruising as we have done in a few games here recently and then we go and make a decision, give the referee a decision to make and this listen it then obviously leads to us unwinding and completely capitulating from then on out which is yeah look real real problems at the moment naturally today feels like a real loss
“Yeah look I think that we’re at a real like tough place real bottom of the barrel at the moment in terms of emotionally in terms of everything that’s gone on I think myself included but look there’s no big cavalry coming to like rescue us we got to make sure that we we get ready to go again on Tuesday cuz we got another tough game we got to reset we got we got to go and make sure that we compete in these last nine games.”
Here’s what was said on social media as Dagenham fans make their voices heard in protest as they fall to defeat against Tamworth…
@jack_briley: Game sums Dagenham up, 1-0 up, down to 10 men and then concede a penalty. Looked promising and had some hope until the red. Not much you can do with 10 men, their third goal was a shambles btw how did that go in 🤣 hill worked non stop till the end and new striker looked decent👍🏻
@Shorey_88: 1-0 up, brain dead defender number 1 gets rightfully sent off, braindead defender number 2 decides to fuck about in the box and then rightfully give away a penalty. Fucking morons, regardless of who the manager is
@BoxingBoshBoy: We deserve to go down, it’s a simple as that.
@TheOneTonyD: This once proud club is now nothing more than a laughing stock
@TheLewisBarrett: Even IF we stay up (big IF), we will be next seasons ebbsfleet no doubt about that
@Puffin_CPFC: I thought that I’d accidentally opened up a high resolution picture of some dogshit but then I saw it was a Young starting 11.
@vanboy59: I’m glad going down like this shit club deserves great decision giving Young the manager’s job u bunch of morons running this club
@DaggerPaul78: Assume Lewis family wasn’t at the game today they should of been #youngout
@TheMemphisEra: Disgraceful
@50OUT1: Shit sack everyone start with King and young immediately. Get a proper manager in.
@ArnoldJohn8834: King Young Thompson Hall the list goes on and on you are a disgrace
@neatanddame: Already resigned myself to relegation. Over 25 points dropped from winning positions and a manager who hasn’t won a game 🙄 Everyone at the club is to blame for putting us in this posistion
@Spencer83809805: I give up… the nobs running this club are clueless… Young is the worst manager I have had the misfortune to watch.. WHO the hell is king?? Is Dan hall having a cackle at our expense… it might be a toy to him, but to us, it’s our club Thommo.., just leave, you are a leech
@DanNewtz: Yet again we start well and end up losing. When will it end? Will take a miracle to stay up. Something needs to change and fast!. The red card affected the game for sure but need to look at the whole game. Disappointing.
@SheilaBlackery: Sacking Strevens has led to your downfall and giving a 2 yr contract to someone with no managerial experience and not even a win since Christmas is farcical
@Simontimofish: As a southend utd fan what the hell is happening to your team seriously doesn’t the board want the team in the national league you guys deserve better good luck for rest of the season. I agree what happening at daggers is,a disgrace you had a manager who had you in mid table he got the sack for what bring in his no2 and now you on a downward spiral to vanarama league south at rate of knots you daggers fans deserve better than what you getting atm
