Crystal Palace have poked fun at one of their own fans after they tweeted that he was ‘unhappy’ when a particular match stat didn’t come in.
Twitter user @J_CPFC replied to his side’s team news for their match against Manchester City, stating “I would just be happy if we get a corner”.

A thrilling match was played out, with Andros Townsend stunning the nation after hitting an unbelievable first-time volley to give Crystal Palace into a surprise lead.
Ilkay Gundogan put Man City predictably in front 27 minutes in, however the Etihad Stadium fell into silence five minutes later when Jeffrey Schlupp found an equaliser.
You would think Pep Guardiola’s men would hit back but instead found themselves on the wrong end of the scoreline as Andros Townsend scored what many are calling the goal of the season so far.
Following Palace’s 3-2 win, the fan who tweeted that he would be happy if there was a corner took to BBC Sport to check out the match stats and saw that Crystal Palace in fact had zero throughout the entire match.
He then put up another post on Twitter claiming that he was “not happy at all…”, which then caught the attention of Palace, who then quote retweeted “You can’t please everyone”.
