Coventry Sphinxwrote on their website: “The veteran former professional players have already made their first appearances for Coventry Sphinx this season.
“Mark Albrighton has already had a spell with Coventry Sphinx when Robbie Banks was the manager in the 2015/16 season. He made 18 appearances during that spell and quickly became a popular character at the club. Mark has significant experience behind him including playing an important role in Doncaster Rovers progress to League One.
He has also made appearances for Barwell, Nuneaton, Kidderminster, Stevenage, Cambridge, Rushden, Darlington, Boston, Chester, Telford and Atherstone United, all between 1998 and 2013.
“Iyseden Christie will be a well known name to Coventry people and the experienced centre forward also comes into the Coventry Sphinx squad. Christie came through the Youth ranks at Coventry City before making his Premier League debut at Blackburn Rovers. He went on to have successful spells at the likes of Mansfield Town and Leyton Orient.
“We would like to thank Bedworth for their co-operation in the dual registration signing of both Mark and Iyseden. ”
The others clubs Iyseden played for are Bournemouth, Kidderminster, Rochdale, Kettering, Torquay, King’s Lynn, Farnborough, Tamworth, Halesowen, Barwell and Sutton Coldfield Town, all between 1995 and 2016.
