Ben Chilwell and Hamza Choudhury have been fined by their Leicester City teammates for turning up late for a recent training session.
The duo were left out of their side’s 2-1 defeat against Burnley, which is not seen as a punishment by Brendan Rodgers, who was not overly concerned by their behaviour.

The club has not sanctioned the duo, instead leaving it to the accepted protocols within the squad, with 50 per cent of the fine going towards the players’ Christmas party and the other half to the Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha Foundation.
Rodgers himself had accepted that on this occasion both players had personal reasons why they were late to training.
He said: “They missed a very important session for us in the week, which was the build-up leading to this game, so we could not bring them into the game.
“They were just unavailable for the training. We were doing a lot of preparation for this game, they were unable to be there, so we now move on.
“Both will be in contention for Wednesday.”

Leicester at hosting West Ham in a midweek Premier League clash with the Foxes looking to get back to winning ways.
They have had a cracking season so far, with Rodgers deserving a huge amount of credit for his first spell as the club’s manager, though in saying that, they are currently enduring a dodgy patch in not winning a league game for three matches.
Despite that, they still sit 3rd in the Premier League table, just three points behind Manchester City, and no chance of catching up with leaders Liverpool.
Fans gave their reaction over to Twitter after finding out that Ben Chilwell and Hamza Choudhury were fined by their Leicester teammates…
Me neither, although I’m not really interested in the real answer
Brendan said the pair was “unavailable” and “unable to be there” for training so that Doesn’t imply they turned up late for training to me that means they wasn’t even there at all— jim (@jammie82uk) January 20, 2020
Good, that’s the way it should be ??

Wish I could fine my co-workers when they turn up late. Would make more than my actual salary.

I'm not even bothered why Rodgers chose to leave them out, it's his decision, but that explanation doesn't really fit with his words. I don't think many will believe it.
