Chelsea fans were left rather concerned by the ‘demotivated’ look on the Blues players’ faces as a video goes viral this week.
The club’s disappointing campaign this season was summed up by a woeful 1-0 defeat to Premier League bottom side Southampton.
As if the Stamford Bridge faithful weren’t already worried enough about what they saw performance wise on the pitch, Chelsea thought it would be a good idea to tweed a video that has since been brutally mocked online.
It showed Graham Potter’s team warming up prior to their match against the Saints, captioned “let’s get to business”, just the players looked uninterested, probably a sign of things to come on Saturday’s game.

Captain Cesar Azpilicueta was seen at the beginning of the clip clapping his hands, shouting “let’s go” at his teammates before running up to the pitch.
The skipper’s efforts made for very little impact on his squad members, keeping silent and blanked him if anything.
Fans took to respond to the clip after their 1-0 defeat, trolling the club, while others suggested that the players were not in control before they even kicked a ball.
Potter’s team lost by a single goal, meaning they have won only once in ten and three times in 15 games respectively. This leaves Chelsea in tenth place in the Premier League, and on course for potentially one of their worst finishes since the 2015/16 season, which also saw them finish 10th, with 50 points from 38 games played under Mourinho, and then his replacement Hiddink, and that season came in between title winning campaigns believe it or not.
This run is worse than any Blues manager since 1995 with many perplexed as to how Graham Potter is still in the job, while some feel sorry from him.
Meanwhile, talkSPORT’s Jamie O’Hara suggested Chelsea to axe Potter and bring back Thomas Tuchel, who was got rid of before Graham’s arrival.
When asked by Stuart Pearce on what they should do next, O’Hara said: “Two things I would do, one, I’d give [Potter] an ultimatum and say ‘you’ve got three games, sort this out’.
“You need to be more into it on the sidelines, I know that might not be Graham Potter but his interviews are too like ‘yeah it’s ok, we’re doing this, we’re doing that’.
“He needs more fire in his belly. Now, whether he’s got that or not, I don’t know – I know Stuart’s got it and I know he can be calmed and relaxed, but I’ve had Stuart as my manager and let me tell you, he scared the life out of me when we lost.
“I don’t know if Graham Potter scares these players, I don’t know if they’re scared of him. If they lose, they probably think ‘oh he’s not going to lose his rag’. You need a manager that players are intimidated by and work hard for.
“If results don’t change I’d get rid of him now, before it’s too late, say ‘right this hasn’t worked out’. You’ve seen QPR sacking managers, Southampton sacking managers, why can’t Chelsea sack a manager?
“What because it’s Graham Potter and they’ve brought him in? You’ve got to sack him if it’s not working, get rid of him! That’s the Premier League, he’ll go and get another job he’s a top manager. It ain’t working, get someone else in.
“Go and get [Mauricio Pochettino], go and get Tuchel back!”
“It’s like it’s okay that they’re 10th!!” 🤦♂️🤯
“If this was Solskjaer, it’d be ‘see you later!’ This ain’t good enough. Get Tuchel back!”
O’Hara’s shocked Potter is still at #CFC.

Some Chelsea players are also reported to be reserving judgement about Graham Potter’s ability to lead the team, according to The Evening Standard.
While, there is still a healthy respect for the manager’s friendliness in the squad, with Thiago Silva and Reece James recently stating that they enjoy Potter’s gentle approach, some players, however, are uncertain about Potter’s abilities to complete the job.
This may be down to the ex-Brighton boss being in charge for only six months and some of his players have been with the club for only weeks.
It’s clear that the five-game winless streak doesn’t help. January signing Benoit Badiashile has yet to win in Chelsea colours.
The report adds that some players are having difficulty understanding their pitch problems.
Although there are claims of unrest in the dressing room, it’s more likely that the anger is directed at certain situations and not Potter.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang excluded from the Champions League squad, Mason Mount’s contract situation and some players losing their place in the pecking order for high-end signings are just two examples of these cases.
It was always going to prove tough to integrate so many new players in such a short time while also keeping the existing members happy.

As mentioned, Chelsea fans were left concerned by the ‘demotivated’ look on players’ faces as a video goes viral. This is what they and other fans had to say on it…
@ddogbraham: That looks one happy squad 😂😂😂
@LeeJone20965492: Never seen a less interested bunch of players in my life
@CFC_Scarz: Why do they all looks so demotivated
@_anaafi: All this Come on from Azpi, only for the players to walk out quietly
@CFC_Shaddes: Never have I ever seen players so disinterested in a football match. Just strolling around and nothing. As long as they make their pay they feel okay!
@dacodac: Feels like inmates going out for hard labour 😵💫⛏️🪓
@leslie_kkay: Why them dey look like somebody ein funeral dey? 🌚
@Stillmanator: This reminds me of when I was forced to play rugby in Year 7 PE. Half of these players will have a note from their mums saying they’re injured next week.
@CFCT_: This is what Potter has done to the mighty Chelsea 🙁
@LauraKirk12: Victoria line at 7am on a Monday has more vibes than this
@theblueeye001: You don’t require to be an engineer for you to know when the road have potholes. When you see them showing up this way something isn’t right. I say it again this group is not this bad to be dominated by bottom of the league team. Regardless of all the factors improvement needed 💙
@GarBreeninhoLfc: Lads looked delighted, about as happy as going to work on a Monday morning ….
@steinar80: Sorry, but where are these prisoners being transported to?
@BBrownCFCVT: Does this look like a team fired up? Ready to play? Inspired? Nah we’re none of that. Everybody on the damn team looks like let’s hurry up and get this shit over so I can go do something else. It’s getting old. Idc who they are if they won’t give 100% bench them for good
@CFCDaily: After Madueke none of them looked liked they cared one bit lmao. You can tell which way the game is going in a couple of phases. The warm ups & how the first 15 minutes go. Attitude stinks.
@Jacksonafc35: This is so depressing to watch.
@__Adwobeng: Not a single human being is happy in this video 😂
@TomLevins1: Have you ever seen a more depressing walkout than this…. Should have seen the L coming from a mile off. Not one of them looked focused.
@thearsenalscout: They are showcasing how finished they are as a club like they’re proud of it. Never seen a Chelsea team so devoid of leadership.
@cmbftbl: I got depressed watching this
@TomWheeler95: Like lambs being led to a slaughter
@Akki_GymGuy: With the same level of enthusiasm of me returning to work after 2 weeks of annual leave in the summer
