He started talking about the Glazers using Manchester United as their personal piggy-bank since 2005 on the Paddy Crerand Show, before being immediately cut off.
According to the MUTV presenters, the question had nothing to do with football. Then a massively awkward pause followed and the programme quickly went to an unexpected commercial break.
Crerand himself, along with former United players Lou Macari and Ben Thornley, were present in the studio as well during the call.

The Glazers have taken at least £800 million out of United in the last 10 years alone after taking over at the club in 2005.
For comparison, fellow Premier League side Manchester City’s owner Sheikh Mansour has put about £1.3 billion INTO the club over the past decade.
After finding out that a caller was shut off on MUTV, fans took to give their reaction…

It's not that what people get annoyed with, it's the fact that they tell them to cut people off.

Shambolic. I hate the lot of them.

I admire the panel when they played for United, now they are being paid by the glazer family, they are told what to say and what to do, it's all rotten to the core, it stinks to high heaven…

He knows what’s going on that’s why.

It's why fans need to stop attending games to. Leave OT noticeably empty and it'll have more effect than filling 72k+ seats every home game and chanting.
They're still lining their pockets!

I would love to sack this lot live on air, have the security come in and escort them out kicking and screaming, sold their souls to the devil, they deserve zero respect, absolute ZERO #MUFC

Every caller on the next show should ask the same question, they can cut them all off but eventually someone will have to answer #GlazersOut #WoodwardOut
