British sides discover fate of Europa League playoff round draw

British sides discover the fate of the Europa League playoff round draw, with teams from the English Premier League, Scottish Premiership and more included.

The likes of Tottenham, Celtic, Rangers, Aberdeen and Motherwell find out their opponents, though all five clubs still need to get through the next round before reaching the playoffs.

It was expected to be a complicated draw, made more complex by the fact that UEFA have a ruling that only certain stadiums can be used, meaning clubs without a certified stadium cannot play each other.

Celtic are in the ‘champions path’ while Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham and the other Scottish clubs are in with the muggles or ‘main path’. Teams have been split into groups and Spurs are in the same Group 4 as Rangers, meaning they could drawn together. Could you imagine?!
