Bristol Rovers give manager permission to talk with Mansfield

Fans have taken to social media to give their saddened reaction to Bristol Rovers giving manager Graham Coughlan permission to talk with Mansfield…

@Rob_B29: Right, now that’s clear, sod off GC, and never darken our door again. @Linesy8 you know what to do. #UTG

@dandegas1: Just put him on gardening leave and get a new manager in.

@JordanAFCMayes: If this was the case what was it with Coughlan’s reaction to the fans celebrating after the game?

@Hathway84: Shame, we move on ?⚪️

@cmgas53: Not going to be all sentimental, if he doesn’t want to be at the club then go & let’s get someone who does !

@CraigWallberg: Rovers, you need to do something now to appease the fans. We are in a great position on the field but in rags off it. Announce Holloway (@IanOllie7) and start working on uniting the fans with the club

@parlourlady: I understand wanting to be closer to his family, but he could have at least stayed until the end of the season, saw it out, see where we finished, stuck by the players, who knows where their heads are gonna be now with him suddenly leaving, could have a detrimental effect ?

@OlStavros: I’m all for @IanOllie7 coming in, would love to see Steve Yates back prowling the touchline with him though… The demise of DC came with his departure #UTG
