A growing number of Bristol City fans opt for attending local non league games amid backlash to the ticket prices announced for Coventry away.
Another ticket price reveal, another set of fans venting frustration at the cost, with it £38 for adults, £33 for over-65s/18-21s, and £28 for under-18s.
Many supporters are calling the prices “pure greed” and “obscene,” especially the £28 child ticket (only £2 less than the Premier League away-ticket cap of £30 for adults).
In protest, some fans are urging a boycott of the Coventry game and instead plan to attend local non league matches on the same day.

@LucaFortuna123: Looks like will be heading to Mangotsfield that day then.
@_ljh23: Got to be a trip to Hallen that day
@s_twenty17049: Entry, Programme, pin Badge, coffee and Pasty at most Step 5&6 clubs £20 and under ….. no brainer is it
@SirMattDeane: £38 could get you to 4/5 non league games where your ££ is needed (and you’ll be guaranteed goals, cards, bovril, real burgers) – spot on from James below.
@_will_sj: £28 for a child 😂😂😂
@Harvo1982: Only £94 for me and my kids… no thanks
@StephBustin: All season tickets on sale at the same time?
@cgiles23: £38?! Fucking robbing bastards @Coventry_City
@jakewilson127: Prices are ridiculous
@Harvo1982: Only £94 for me and my kids… no thanks
@deltapchot26607: £45 for Coventry away. Think I’ll give that 1 a miss 🔴⚪️🤬
@KaiserBCFC_:
The price will be:
£315 per adult
£175 per child
Seriously man, people should tell Coventry to go f themselves.
#BristolCity #PUSB
@LiHealey: It’s a no from me
@LucaFortuna123: £33 for a ticket think I will be missing that away day. Absolute disgusting ticket prices from Coventry.
Chris Davies: £38 for any championship game is a joke!!
Kieron Anthony: Kids prices bang out of order! The maximum price for a premier League away adult ticket is £30 but a child’s championship ticket is £28 🤦🏻
Otib Fanzine: Obviously don’t want any future fans watching football £28 😡😡
Aimee Stevens: Those prices are ridiculous. £28 for an under 18 is awful!!!
Matt Boiles: £38! Absolutely criminal! Appreciate Coventry have set the price but that’s absurd!
Andy Green: 28.00 for kids
Those prices are genuinely obscene, no thank you. https://t.co/Q8wBw7TSZ4
