Bristol City cheekily taunt Pieface again with tweet after beating Plymouth

Bristol City cheekily taunt Pieface again with a tweet posted after beating Plymouth Argyle 1-0 on Bank Holiday Monday.

“Terrific to get another win and another clean sheet, delighted for the squad. When you look at the demands of the game and how close together they were, huge credit to the players for what they’ve done in the last two games,” Liam Manning told BBC Radio Bristol.

“We knew here, the energy, the noise, where they’re at, they’d come out on the front foot and we did a good job of weathering that.

“They had some set pieces without troubling Max, we changed from a five at the back to a four which helped us get more pressure higher up and get hold of the ball. We weathered the first 20 minutes well and after that, it was a professional performance.”

“He’s a top pro, Nahki,” he added. “He would’ve wanted to play more than he has lately, but stepping and delivering when required is a great skill.

“It was an excellent performance, he did a great job against Leicester too and he did terrifically well for the goal today.”

Fans on Twitter reacted as Bristol City cheekily taunt Pieface again with a tweet after beating Plymouth…

@bcfchc: @the_pieface unlucky pal

@beverle40453849: Bristol City admin W

@ARWURZELBS3: Glorious content

@crobbyg: never fails to me make laugh

@M14Moore: It’s happening, up the city. #ecfc

@LukePingu: Give this admin a pay rise 🤣🤣🤣

@StephenBMcI: Wake up Argyle! Get him out now! Before it’s too late.

@DanielG89028124: A whole seasons worth of effort to get here, ruined in just couple of months

@TheGreenJanner: I’m not going to Slag off anyone but this is a plea to the board. Please do something if you dont want to sack him bring in some help for him. You’ve been brilliant for the last 5 years and bought the club so far but why ruin it over a bad appointment? And ruin all that!!

@ODJLovesFooty: Love it or hate it these lot are proper shithouses 😂

@CInnes1972: Incredible tbh 😂😂😂

@bigbobLs86: When is someone going to come out and say “we got it wrong”, seriously, we are undoing all the good work of the past 5 years or so. League One here we come, top 6 Championship club with Prem aspirations??????? We’re going backwards.

@DRM5515: This is what happens when ownership don’t make decisive decisions. Years of growth ruined in a few months by one awful manager. We need a miracle now.

@DW94_: 5 home losses in a row. No goals scored. GET HIM GONE!

@PhillipBish896: I want him out of the club by tonight, no joke. Nothing personal, just you aren’t cut out for this job.

@boughtersdx: Surely a call to Warnock is the first thing the board should do?

@PilgrimFrazz: I don’t want to be negative but seriously what are the positives to take from this game? We had a good 20 mins in the first half? I think it’s about time we accept the fact that Fozzy isn’t going anywhere and we’re going down. But that’s okay cause the players tried their best!

@MoeMoeMoe1992: Time to go. 5 games at home without scoring is nothing short of disgracful. Sleep walking to league one

@CxdyWood: 5 home losses in a row… If this bloke isn’t sacked TONIGHT, our club is an absolute joke. #pafc

@SupremeLeaderD3: That’s a club record for not scoring at home. 5 games in a row. Get him out before sundown.

@Pilgrimrich: Surely keeping Foster in charge is going to lose #pafc millions? With the price he’s wiped off Whittaker’s valuation, relegation to league 1 and TV rights? How can @Argyle keep him in charge? Madness

@Jack__fpl: I’ll start the chain off. Foster out

@MattHarry_PAFC: Just heard foster on radio devon, once again talking utter rubbish. Once managers start taking the fans for mugs the damage is done. His relationship with the fans is over, i dont want him next season, even if his form improves (it wont) #pafc

@nixims: “Something going on behind the scenes” I’ve seen it posted over and over again in the last month, but in this day and age of openness and transparency why isn’t someone telling us what it is. Plenty of speculation of course but why aren’t the people ‘In the know’ talking?

@blackcat619: @SimonHallett I simply cannot believe that you’re going to let us sleepwalk back into League 1. After all the years it’s taken us to get back to the champ. 5 home games, 5 losses, 0 goals, first time in the clubs history. That cannot be ignored

@MatthewJHolmes: Club have to admit they got it wrong. The longer Foster stays in charge, the higher our relegation chances become. This isn’t a man who can either keep us up, or bring us back up the following year. Get rid now and at least give us a fighting chance of championship survival

Not holding back let’s face the FACTS!
8 losses in 11!
450 minutes of not scoring a goal!
5 HOME losses in a row! HP was a fortress!
We have a man in charge who is reactive more then proactive!
CLUESS on substitutions
CLUESS on tactics!
Exciting football has GONE!
