Bolton and Plymouth give update on how many tickets they have sold for the much anticipated Papa John’s Trophy Final on the 2nd of April.
The Trotters secured their place at Wembley after a 2-0 victory over Accrington Stanley.
Wanderers will be making their first visit to Wembley since 2011 when they lost an FA Cup semi final to Stoke City.
To overcome a stubborn Stanley team that had seen Sean McConville dismissed in the first period at the Wham Stadium, they needed to score late goals by Elias Kachunga and Aaron Morley.
Meanwhile, for the Pilgrims, they had to beat Cheltenham Town in a penalty shootout, meaning Ian Evatt’s team will take on Argyle at the national stadium on Sunday the 2nd of April with a huge crowd expected.

Delivery of Tickets
All match tickets will be delivered via email, with the option for supporters to either download digital tickets or print at home.
The process of ticket delivery will begin in the days ahead. The club will communicate with all supporters when ticket delivery has been completed. In the interim we ask for patience – while some supporters will receive their tickets earlier than others, this should not be cause for concern.
Any supporters who claim not to have received tickets after the delivery period will be supported by the Home Park Ticket Office team. We will advise supporters when it is the appropriate time to do this, and we thank the Green Army for their patience as we seek to co-ordinate ticketing in the most efficient manner possible.
The ticketing process will be completed quicker if staff do not have to field queries from supporters as to the status of their ticket delivery in the coming days, and we request that you do not call the Ticket Office with queries about Wembley ticket delivery until we invite such calls.
We thank you for your incredible support – not just for Wembley, but throughout the 22/23 campaign – and appreciate your co-operation.

@CarlBarnard15: Bloody brilliant, to be honest didn’t think we’d sell over 30k looks like we could end up around 35k which wasn’t far off the play off numbers. Need to get some wins over the next few weeks so we are in good spirits going into the final. Don’t want to be out of auto’s.
@Bobzilla3000: Well done Plymouth fans 👏🏻🤘🏻. Here’s to a cracking day out #bwfc
