A photo has been doing the rounds showing a smashed window of a coach that Preston North End supporters were on yesterday.
It came following the Lilywhites’ 1-0 win at St Andrews, Sean Maguire scored a strike in the first half, but the Blues were left even more frustrated after having penalty appeals turned down and Alvaro Gimenez had a goal disallowed for offside.
After the game, disgruntled home fans are said to have shattered the glass, causing the bus to eventually pull over on the motorway.
Twitter user @Nuttxll posted: “We had to stop on the motorway because of the Birmingham “fans” smashing our window. Shameful.
“And I cba to respond to the mongs quoting like “it’s not even bad”. Over the last hour of travelling home, the entire window had gone sooo.
“Glass all over the motorway etc, I doubt you’d be happy if you were to have a puncture on the motorway because of some inbred brummies…”
@twentyoneclods wrote “définition of sore loser” with the caption on the photo reading “Birmingham fans just smashed our window ??”

Another fan, @iainmack1960, replied: “What a bunch of low life scum, thought we might not get back to see highlights, and guess what @pnefc still won! Was worried for a bit when we pulled off the motorway though, would have been hours before we got back.”
The same user also replied back to the Birmingham Mail saying that the incident happened within 400m of the ground.
After checking out the photo, fans took to give their reaction, some questioned whether it happened, some laugh and others were left angry – see those tweets for yourself by clicking on the next page.
