Richard Smallwood is a talented midfielder who wears the jersey for Bradford City. He comes from Redcar, England, and was born on December 29th, 1990. Richard started his football journey in his hometown Middlesbrough. He played so well that he made more than 100 appearances for them. Then, in January 2017, he decided to switch to Bradford City.
Throughout his career in English football, Richard has played in over 230 matches. He’s shown his skills in the national league and represented England’s Under-21 team and the full national team. Richard is like a jack-of-all-trades on the field – he can play in any position in the midfield.
It all began at Middlesbrough for Richard. He later took a detour to Rotherham United on loan in 2014. Then, in 2017, he joined Blackburn Rovers, playing 78 games across two seasons.
