BBC reveal which FA Cup Second Qualifying Round match they will stream

The BBC will broadcast one game from every round of this season’s FA Cup qualifying, the latest to be selected is between Irlam and York City.

It will be the third match from the tournament they will have shown this season after picking Punjab United vs Broadbridge Heath (0-1), Heather St John’s vs Worcester City (1-0), Thatcham Town vs Salisbury (2-3).

Irlam currently play their football in the North West Counties Premier Division where they sit 5th in the table. They beat Ashton Athletic 4-0 in the FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round, won 3-2 at Stocksbridge Park Steels in the Preliminary Round and 4-0 at Charnock Richard in the First Qualifying Round.

Their opponents for the next round, York City, are 2nd in the National League North table. They enter the tournament in the Second Qualifying Round.

The match takes place on 21 September (12:30 BST) and will be streamed on the BBC Sport website, app and iPlayer.

Those who progress will receive £6,750 and the losers pick up £2,250.
