Connor said: “We have had second thoughts and feel decisions were made far too quickly on the appointment of Glen Kendall and his management team.
“Therefore, Glen and his team have been relieved of their duties and the club will not be making any rash decisions for the time being.
“I will be stepping up as interim manager until a permanent appointment is made.”
We all make mistakes in life, hold my hands up on this one. What a club, laughing stock I’ve heard them all. It’s about taking stock & making sure we don’t make the same mistake again. I am young, enthusiast & love football. @official_bufc is my passion & I will help to grow

Proper shit chairman ?, if you had seen the club 4/5 years ago it was on its knees. I wouldn’t say a couple of terrible decisions can put me in the category of Mr Tamplin.

Lee you have taken this club from bottom of @EssexSenior to @FWPIsthmianOneN. We all make mistakes but be proud of what you have done. ❤️

Kendall is a former footballer who has played overseas in Poland and Thailand as a semi-professional.
He started his managerial career in 2014, also in Thailand, before heading to England and managing Leyton Athletic in the Essex Senior League as well as having a stint at Clapton followed by an assistant manager role at Newbury Forest.
Basildon United got rid of three managers last season before John Sussex in March, where they went on to finish 17th for the 18/19 season, though the current campaign they are one place above the drop and after managing to beat Chesham to advance in the FA Trophy, he resigned despite being asked to carry on by the club.
