10) Aldershot Town
Aldershot Town enjoyed an average attendance of 2,684 people at the EBB Stadium throughout the 2023/24 National League season.
The Shots finished 8th place with 69 points from 46 games, a place and 2 points outside the playoffs, missing out on the final day of the season.
For the 2022/23 season, of which Aldershot finished 18th in the National League, they had an average home attendance of 2,052.
9) Woking
Woking had an average crowd size of 2,717 supporters at Kingfield throughout the 2023/24 National League season.
An underwhelming campaign for the Cards, as they ended up finishing in 17th with 55 points after 46 matches.
For the 2022/23 season, of which Woking finished 4th and relegated from League Two, they had an average home attendance of 2,829.
8) Rochdale
Rochdale had an average attendance of 2,746 fans at Spotland Stadium for the 2023/24 National League season.
Dale, considering tough times behind the scenes for much of the campaign, ended the campaign in 11th place, with 62 points over 46 matches.
For the 2022/23 season, of which Rochdale finished 24th and relegated from League Two, they had an average home attendance of 3,029.
7) Kidderminster Harriers
Kidderminster attracted an average of 2,856 spectators at Aggborough Stadium for the 2023/24 National League season.
They ended the season in 22nd place, earning 46 points over 46 games, relegated back to the National League North.
For the 2022/23 season, of which Kidderminster finished 6th and won the National League North playoffs, they had an average home attendance of 2,280.
6) Bromley
Bromley had an average attendance of 3,561 supporters at Hayes Lane for the 2023/24 National League season.
The Ravens finished in 3rd, amassing 81 points over 46 games, beat Altrincham 3-1 in the playoff semi final, then beat Solihull in the final (2-2 AET, 4-3 pens) to seal promotion.
For the 2022/23 season, of which Bromley finished 7th in the National League, they had an average home attendance of 2,585.
5) Hartlepool United
Hartlepool United had an average turnout of 4,146 fans at Victoria Park for the 2023/24 National League season.
Hartlepool United secured 12th place with 60 points from 46 games. 11 points behind the playoff places and 8 points above the drop zone.
For the 2022/23 season, of which Hartlepool finished 23rd and relegated from League Two, they had an average home attendance of 4,676.
4) York City
York City had an average of 4,854 supporters at the York Community Stadium for the 2023/24 National League season.
The Minstermen ended the 2023/24 season in 20th place, just about avoiding relegation, with 53 points after 46 games.
For the 2022/23 season, of which York finished 19th in the National League, they had an average home attendance of 4,827.
3) Southend United
Southend United were backed by an average crowd of 6,493 spectators at Roots Hall for the 2023/24 National League season.
The Shrimpers finished 9th with 65 points after 46 matches, but had ten points deducted for failing to pay debt to HMRC.
For the 2022/23 season, of which Southend finished 8th in the National League, they had an average home attendance of 6,057.
2) Oldham Athletic
Oldham Athletic had the second biggest average attendance with 6,924 fans inside Boundary Park for the 2023/24 National League season.
The Latics ended a rollercoaster of a campaign in 10th place with 63 points from 46 games. Fans desperately hoping for better times to return.
For the 2022/23 season, of which Oldham finished 12th in the National League, they had an average home attendance of 6,660.
1) Chesterfield
Chesterfield topped the list with the highest average attendance of 7,893 at the SMH Group Stadium for the 2023/24 season.
The Spireites also was top of the league table, finishing in 1st place with 98 points after 46 games and had been promoted way back in March with a 3-0 win over Boreham Wood.
For the 2022/23 season, of which Chesterfield finished 3rd and lost in their National League playoff final to Notts County, they had an average home attendance of 8,271.
