Morecambe’s 2026/27 early bird season tickets prices causes a stir with fans, with it getting over a million views.
A month after early bird prices was posted onto social media by the club, suddenly the tweet blew up on May 1st, but after seeing criticism, a Morecambe FC supporter, has since noted that the March 2026 preview sale offered lower rates, £431 for adult C Premier seats, before the £479 early bird phase.
@TomCarnduff of Sporting Life tweeted that the ‘Early Bird price’ of £479 was due to expire on May 1st but they have since extended it. If not, they’re charging up to £625 for a season ticket. He worked it out at £27 a game.
@TomCarnduff added: “Even the cheapest seated season ticket works out at £18 per game. That’s a season ticket price too.
“Expensive day out for those who want to visit the odd game/are an away fan on the likely matchday pricing on that basis.”
@JakeEnglish_ replied: “Very disingenuous. The expensive tier is for padded seats by the dugout with hospitality access, there’s not many of them on sale. The terrace ticket prices are fairly standard for the level. Obviously gonna be a slightly more than your teams with less built up grounds.”
@andyberrymfc: Just to add to your disingenuous bollocks. There was a preview sale prior to the early bird offer. The C premier seats are better and have access to the hospitality lounge.
@TomCarnduff: “Morecambe Football Club are planning on charging supporters £508 for a season ticket. In the sixth tier of English football. I’d love to be an ownership group who could turn a club into a laughing stock for months on here and then have people rushing to defend them still.”
He added in further tweets: “People have been sharing Morecambe’s early bird pricing. I read the article and realised that it gets even higher after that deadline. It’s sad to see the club being dragged down to this level of football and then be slapped with a huge price tag to go and watch it.
@TomCarnduff: On April 1, Morecambe confirmed they will be charging £508 for a season ticket after a deadline date set (which was today but was then moved to Tuesday). That’s the problem. Sad to see people are happy for this to happen.
@foibot1: No no, that is an ‘executive’ seat with access to the main stand. Good value? No. But for the fans today a season ticket is £247.
@TomCarnduff: And my whole frustration about this is it’s the fact that club have been dragged down to this level when they shouldn’t be there and feel comfortable throwing a ridiculous price at some supporters for it.

Fans react to Morecambe’s 2026/27 early bird season tickets prices…
@SeanDavid1989: That is for a Premium seat though. I get the clamour over the pricing, but £27 for a Premium seat each match doesn’t actually sound too outlandish to me.
@tthew_son: £479 for national league north is crazy 😭
@GrahamPark15: They are aiming to stay full time so someone will need to pay for it. On that basis if they don’t get off to a great start then the fireworks will start. If they romp the league then you could say it was worth it.
@Joshua694206969: How the fuck do you charge more than us and we’re 5 leagues above you 🤣🤣 #pnefc
@WycombeDJ: For context, a Wycombe child’s ticket is £25. And the cheapest adults is £362. For League One.
@Sir_Pimpalot: I pay less for my Burnley season ticket and we are prem/champ every other year. Shocking prices.
@RfcNatho: My season ticket at reading is cheaper than Morecambe in NL north! Wtf
@Davidjrj123: Out of the frying pan and into the fire as far as the ownership is concerned, charging top end championship prices for a NLN club on the back of successive relegations. Proper club with proper fans who deserve better than whatever the fuck this is.
@Millie1555: I’ve just paid £506 for me and my son to watch Championship possibly Premier League in London. Costs have to be met but this is nuts
@josh__blackk: £479 for national league north 😭 mine is £30 more for championship football 😂
@nocontextfm1: That price for National League North is crazy… 😳
@FansAgainstVAR_: What planet are these owners living on?
@Sanny_Rudra: People complaining at these prices but you’re only one division off the Premier League to be fair. Ok, ok, (Northern) Premier League.
@wearelutontown: Early bird prices by the way. I know they’ve had it tough, need the money and all that good stuff – but balance is needed, the faith those fans have put in over the rocky years. Crazy prices for step six football.
