2nd place sides in each National League division, Barnet, Scunthorpe and Chelmsford all LOSE their playoff semi finals this weekend.
Solihull Moors secured the first spot at this season’s National League playoff final at Wembley with an impressive 4-0 victory over Barnet.
James Clarke opened the scoring for Andy Whing’s side in the sixth minute, followed by Jack Stevens’ goal 20 minutes later.
Despite finishing 10 points above Moors in the league campaign, Barnet’s hopes of a comeback were dashed when Tahvon Campbell found the back of the net just past the hour mark.
Joe Sbarra then sealed the victory with a goal in the final minute with Solihull Moors now facing either Bromley or Altrincham in the final for a chance to secure a place in League Two.
This will be the first time the Moors will play at Wembley, and they now have the opportunity to play there on consecutive Saturdays in May, as they have also booked a trip in the FA Trophy.

Here’s how fans reacted as 2nd place sides Barnet, Scunthorpe and Chelmsford all LOSE their playoff semi finals…
ON BARNET v SOLIHULL
@BarnetFC_News: DB found lacking big time in terms of preparation and mentality. Not one Barnet player turned up today. Embarrassing and shameful. #BarnetFC
@MoorsOnTop: Cheers lads. Enjoy the national league next year whilst we live the high life
@StevoJW: Sad too see. We ( Chesterfield) wanted too see you promoted
@Aryan041104: Worst performance in the biggest game, how embarrassing. And It’ll never be the same again, there’s a good chance we lose the core of the team this summer, not to mention the manage
@MBGBFC: Awful, but way too much negativity. DB picked us up from the doldrums and has taken us to two play offs inc a runners up spot. We go again and we have to stick together. With some of the money that has been spent by others this is been a class season. We go again π
@ASlipaczek: After such an amazing season finishing 2nd, to serve that up in a play off Semi Final is shocking. All the interviews this week βno stone unturnedβ what a load of rubbish. Completely bottled it. Very disappointing. #BarnetFC
@mattymooreeb: Spineless. Gutless. Shameful. An embarrassment to the fans. They better step and up and publicly apologise for that diabolical performance. We deserve so much better as fans than to see underperforming mediocrity year after year.
@AdamHicks91_: How was it possible to play that badly?
@Daniel_Tonks: To smash the 2nd best team in the league with two days rest is incredible. High hopes for the final now!
@scott_5254: WOW! Absolutely sensational lads and Whingy! To only have 2 days of rest and turn in a performance like that is simply incredible!! 2 trips to Wembley in 6 days! Unbelievable.
@mswd18: Magnificent! You Moors!!!
ON SCUNTHORPE v BOSTON:
@bushakke: thanks for cheering me up lads x enjoy needham market away hahaha
@Jclm04: Cant be right, thought you lot were gunna walk the league ? See ya next year x
@GtfcJacko: πππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππ Jelly and ice cream time
@OllyWhiteley13: All that waffle taking piss out of the league the teams in it to lose at home on pens see you next season lads you deserve it
@oafc19: At least you donβt have to go Tamworth
@Adamheaps3006: Another year in the “farmers league” thenπ€£π€£π€£π€£
@brendanreade4: Wow that much money and still canβt win ππ
@kane260104: See you next season letβs hope it doesnβt rain cos you donβt like playing in the rain
@MattLew99: Jimmy Dean contract extension asap please π
@Johnny_Cowdroy: At least you stayed up this year too π€£π€£π€£
@blowy61: Time for Deano to do the decent thing and resign immediately. The players are going to accept huge pay cuts next season or go elsewhere. Let’s face it most of them are only NLN stanard.
@elliottbrown97: That is honestly the funniest thing Iβve ever seen in my life
@KarlJames_94: Ultimately we fell short when it mattered the most. The fact we played 78 minutes with a left side of Beestin and Barrows is attrocious. That cost us the game in my opinion. Iβm sorry but Jimmys a great guy but tactically out of depth. We pick our selves up and go again π«

ON CHELMSFORD V BRAINTREE:
@Don_Dagger_: Neutral today, A lot of individual quality in that team. Iron had desire and mentality from KOβs of second half and 1st half of extra time suggesting Harrop really knows how to galvanise – Baris Altintop is some player, has all the tools and the right amount of nastiness, baller
@kie_moore: Well done lads…great effort especially after those two late goals πͺπ» Enjoyed it even more for sticking two fingers up at that biased commentator on national league tv πππ
@kie_moore: All the lads were fantastic today but Odusanya was immense in the center of the park πͺπΏ
@HCdoyle_: Commentator was probably same guy running @ClaretsXtra absolute bell end
@TTBITFC: Someone check on your commentator, never heard a headloss quite like that πππ
@StevenBirch0612: Another City choke in the play offs I donβt think theyβll ever get out of that league sadly
@VinnyBrown100: Hope the commentators alright , focus on the game instead of accusing everyone of diving every time theyβre fouled . IRONS π΅π
The commentator is this lad rn AHAHAHAHAH so biased towards your team deserved that humbling. Only beat you when it really matters #COYI π π΅ pic.twitter.com/QvMjDivdGJ
