25/26 FA Vase Quarter Final draw in full; Bilston and Droylsden issue update statement

We take a look at the 25/26 FA Vase Quarter Final draw in full, meanwhile Bilston and Droylsden issue an update statement.

Those who won their game in the FA Vase Fifth Round were given £2,250, and the losers received £725. And for clubs who win their quarter final round ties, it’s £4,125, while the losing side are given 1,350. 4 ties are drawn out and to be played for on the 7th of February 2026.

Only two teams from the 10th tier remain, Midland League Division One side Gornal Athletic, who had their away game at Hallen called off.

North West Counties League Division One North side Droylsden, who produced a 2-0 win against Bilston Town of the Midland League Division One, although the game was marred by trouble.

Investigation launched after shocking scenes at Bilston v Droylsden FA Vase tie

Bilston statement: “We understand that there is a video or videos shared by people from the game today. We would like to state that this is not a fair reflection of the game or day as a whole.

“As a club we are in the process of investigating all footage from today’s game. We would like to thank the supporters of @Droylsden_FC for their cooperation.”

New joint statement from both Bilston and Droyslden: “Following the disorder which occurred after our game on Saturday, both Clubs wish to issue the following statement.

“We do not and will not ever tolerate, condone or excuse disorder of any kind, either verbal or physical.

“We are fully aware of the videos circulating on social media, and full internal investigations are being conducted by both Clubs.

“Immediate interim, without-prejudice suspensions have been put in place in respect of those individuals known to have been involved, pending the investigation outcomes.

“We are working with the police, the FA and each other to bring these events to a conclusion.

“At this time, no further comments will be made. Once we have resolved the matter with the relevant authorities further updates may be issues.”

The biggest attendance of those who did play came at 9th tier Southern Counties East League Premier Division side Whitstable Town, with 1,547 fans turning up to watch them lose 5-4 on penalties to Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division outfit Cockfosters, after a 1-1 draw in normal time.
