Time for the 25/26 FA Trophy Second Round Proper draw now following a very busy weekend of First Round action.
It was a busy weekend as the FA Trophy First Round got underway, no new non league teams entering at that stage, just the winners from the Third Qualifying Round, and there were plenty of goals and a few penalty shootouts across the 32 games.
The biggest attendance in the First Round came in the fixture with 1,046 fans making their way through teh turnstiles for FC United of Manchester’s win against Bamber Bridge.
There were also 7 upsets, with Corby Town beating Spalding United 1-0, Anstey Nomads putting four against Stratford, Clitheroe winning 4-2 at home against Stockton, Sittingbourne winning 2-1 against Cray Valley Paper Mills and Dunston starting off the round with a 1-0 win over Hebburn.
There were penalty shootout cup upset wins for Bradford (Park Avenue) 1-1 (4-2p) against Morpeth Town and Leatherhead 1-1 (4-2p) against Canvey Island. See more stats and facts in the FA Trophy review HERE.
The First Round Proper Round sees 40 ties drawn out. Once again, there are no replays, so any match which end in a draw after 90 minutes will be decided via a penalty shootout.
National League North and South teams will enter at this stage of the competition, then the National League in the Third Round Proper.
Teams who win in the Second Round Proper Round will pick up £3,750, while the losers pick up £1,000, a full list of prize money and dates for each round can be seen below…
