We look at the 2025/26 National League, North, South title winners, playoffs and relegations confirmed now the regular season is over.
There was so much at stake in all three leagues, the title and the playoffs. National League North also needed relegation deciding.
We start with the National League title battle, going into it, Stuart Maynard’s York City were on 107 points, needing a draw to win the title and a return to League Two after 10 seasons away, while victory for Jimmy McNulty’s Rochdale, on 105 points, would see them leapfrog the Minstermen and take win it on the final day.
You’ll have to read this to relive the drama that unfolded. Pure chaos.
