Tyreik Wright, remember that name, because the 18-year-old Aston Villa is certainly one for the future judging from his recent performances.
The talented young winger coming through the ranks at Villa got on the scoresheet four times to help the Republic of Ireland’s under 19s team beat Gibralter’s youngsters 13-0 yesterday.

Also getting amongst the goals were Wolves’ Lewis Richards (15′), Norwich’s Andrew Omobamidele (23′), Tottenham’s Jamie Bowden (25′, 73′), Arsenal’s Mark McGuinness (55′), Bohemians’ Ross Tierney (61′), Everton’s Thomas Cannon (62′), Lincoln’s Red Imps’ Shay Jones (87′ og) and Watford’s Ryan Cassidy (90+3′).
It was a sensational performance from the Aston Villa youngster, even if it did come against weak opposition.
His form has caught much attention from the supporters of his club, especially making the step up to the under-23s halfway through last season where he now features regularly for Mark Delaney’s side.
The forward, who can also played left or right-wing, has scored twice in seven Premier League 2 matches, most recently in a 3-2 win over Newcastle United, and also played two games (on the right wing) in the EFL Trophy against Salford City and Tranmere Rovers.
