Yeovil Town go viral with a savage tweet they published in response to John McGinn talking about his backside earlier this week.
The National League outfit cheekily mocked the Aston Villa star on Twitter over Scotland missing out on going to the World Cup after McGinn joked about playing for the Glovers.
McGinn made a bright start to the international break, helping Steve Clarke’s men to an emphatic 3-0 victory over Ukraine in the Nations League.
It was the midfielder who scored the opening goal, using his strength to shrug off the defender before firing his effort into the bottom corner.
McGinn has developed a reputation for having a bizarre amount of physical presence when it comes to backing into players. And that prompted an interviewer to ask about it.
He took it in good stead, joking that were it not for his backside, he would now be playing for Yeovil Town.
Unsurprisingly, it caught the attention of the Glovers and they responded with a superb comment, suggesting that he is welcome to visit in late November or December.
Obviously, many players will be unavailable at that time due to the World Cup in Qatar, however Scotland’s squad won’t be around after missing out on reaching the tournament at the playoff stage…
